Duke is not great but okay. Not to mention he's armed with a Spray Painted M16 Rifle instead of his preferred weapon. Dressed like one of those Afghanistan troops and wearing green padding for some strange reason.  A- Cobra Commander looks terrible without his mask. I have two Cobra Commanders one without his mask and one with his mask. Once in closeup view you can transparently see his mouth. His eyes don't seem menacing enough for the character and the smile is way off. C Note: Both these figure are huge disappointments. Shame |

 Duke didn’t spend a whole lot of time in his army uniform, but at least it’s a variant that makes sense. Combined with his all green impact suit, they each make up half of his iconic green and tan suit. What also works well is that the figure is on the generic side, so he works fine as some random solider. As for Cobra Commander, he isn’t a bad toy and works fine as a weird evil scientist. He just doesn’t particularly match my view of who Cobra Commander is. And reading the full review is the other half of the battle: jestergoblin.com/?p=5356 |

The base duke fig was awesome to me, and better as custom fodder. Not crazy about CC. Glad to have been able to buy him as a single.
