Captain America Being the first wave, and this is a retroactive review, it is difficult not to compare these figures to newer offerings. Capt's stance feels too forced and his expression doesn't match the character. He's a decent figure, not excellent, not horrible. C
Hawkeye Clint's more extreme pose works excellent for the character. By breaking away from the Galactic Heroes mindset, he isn't in the same pose as Capt and that makes all the difference. His articulation allows it to make him look about to shoot or grabbing a new arrow from his quiver. Excellent, dynamic figure. A
Note: Out of the wave, this pack is the odd one out for not being X-Men themed like the other three.

good choice but with it being the first in the group i would have picked someone thet kids would know better like hulk,spider-man,or iron man instead of putting them in wave 2

Overall, I think this is a very good pack. I mostly agree with Jester's statements: Cap. America's face looks a bit too sinister. The pose is not as versatile as you would hope. His fisted arm is perhaps a bit too close to his body and looks awkward when raised. I give him about a B-.
Hawkeye is great! Very dynamic pose. Not much versatility in the pose but it's such a great action stance. A.

ghijkl... while reading through your reviews I've noticed you mention a lot of your figures being lost or broken... what exactly do you do to them?

This is the first couple that got me hooked on these toys so it will be my first review. When I first noticed them last spring I thought I'd end up with a few in my stocking...now I have almost all of them.
Captain America is a great happy little representation of the lighter side of Marvel. In hindsight, he seems a little hunched over compared to the box set Cap or the Red Skull Cap, like he’s been in a box (or block of ice) for years and needs to stretch out. I really don’t display this one anymore. Good start though. Good bright colors.
Hawkeye is cool. I love his little grin as he readies his arrow. Colors are right and I like the big eyes under his mask. I noticed he and future-self Ronin kinda have the same stance.

Well Hawkeye's bow got broken because I touched the silver point too much. And then Captain America's sheild arm got because I dropped it at my cousins house. And then it got lost forever in my mom's car.

Captain America: I don't like this figure to much, the pose is weird, and the mischievious grin doesn't fit Cap at all.
Figure Grade: C- (Low end average)
Hawkeye: This figure is exactly what a Hawkeye figure should be like. Nice action pose, nice detail. My only real complaint is that his arm articulation allows so little movement its almost pointless.
Figure Grade: A- (Almost perfect)
Overall Pack: B- This Captain America should thank Hawkeye for saving this packs value.

Hawkeye I am far impressed with Hawkeye. His arm movement does not really do much for me although. Still excellent figure. A Captain America Is this supposed to be Captain America? The grin barely matches the purpose of the character. Plus, I hate his pose. I wish his pose was commanding. F

A blast from the past! Super Hero Squad WAVE 1 - Captain America & Hawkeye I love this Hawkeye still, one of my favorite figures. Captain America isn't bad, but I like other versions more. Full review: jestergoblin.com/?p=1853
