IF YOU FIND THIS FOR RETAIL BUY IT.
Beast I love Hank. I wish he were bulkier, but the fact that he has giant hands and feet works so well. Plus he can stand on his head! A
Iceman My biggest complaint on this figure is the snowball. I feel it detracts from the figure as a whole, especially in comparison with his snow sled. His head bothers me too, it seems too smooth. B-

Beast is so cool, I spent forever when I first got this pack balancing him on things and making him stand in crazy ways. He's simple and well designed. I also love his little face.
Iceman, I'm so glad they made this version of him before we got flooded with Bobby Drakes. This is classic Iceman, back when he was less edgy (literally and figuratively) and the snowball and snow sled fit with that image.

Overall, a very good pack.
Beast is very well done. His "horny" hair is nice and he has little embellishments of fur on his shoulders, elbows, and legs. The friendly expression is good for Hank, though perhaps there should be a bit of fang. The big hands and 3-point articulation work nicely for the acrobatic Beast. He is maybe a bit too small, as others noted, but most of the bulky characters are a bit understated sizewise in SHS. Finally, I prefer this version over the furry version because although the felt was a great idea, it looks faded, as if Beast is starting to get gray hairs. A.
This is likewise my favorite Iceman. I would prefer that he was a bit more chiseled, but the softer look is appropriate for SHS. I'm very glad his arms move because otherwise he'd be a statue rather than an action figure. I actually like the snowball because it reminds me of that move in X-men Streetfighter, where he could summon that giant ball of ice/snow onto his enemies. A.

This two-pack is one of the rare ones that were impossible to find shortly after being released. Since then, both Beast and Iceman have gotten new figures but this is the best version of Beast released and Iceman is solid figure. Full review: jestergoblin.com/?p=2481
