Black Panther sports arm and waist rotation and looks good if not too simplistic. After the ML version, having him lack details is a little weird but could be great for custom fodder. His cape is also a different color than his body which is neat. The yellow looks good. Decent figure, above average but not ground breaking. B
Storm technically rotates at the head, but her arms and hair prevent most of it. She's in her 70s black bikini costume with crazy cape. She looks good but has terrible issues standing. Her paint (on mine) was a little sloppy on the costume but the face looks great. Cute and pupilless, so she's using her powers. An ok figure, if she could stand up, I'd like her a lot more. B-
Two great characters, worthwhile pack.

Another somewhat disappointing pack.
Again, this is a rare pack with one very popular character, hard to obtain for a good price.
On the one hand, I like the choice of Storm's classic costume. The designers went for a somewhat ambitious pose with Storm. They could have just had her standing with arms genericly flailing, but instead she is locked in a landing/taking off stance.
But again, the classic SHS female shortcomings show up in Storm. She falls over backwards very easily. Her only articulation is her head and that only entails about about ten degrees. I just feel like they could have done a better job with the figure. C-.
Aside from the fact that I know very little about the character, Black Panther is pretty cool. He holds a very simple stance, but it works on him. His simple eye dots make him look calm, mysterious, ambiguous, even cute. The standard waist/arms articulation is a nice bonus. Plus, he is the closest thing we have to SHS Batman thus far. B.

While both Storm and Black Panther have issues with their paint, they’re decent figures. It’s weird that they’re fetching such high prices on the secondary market now because they really aren’t worth it. For retail price, sure but this two pack can easily set you back $50 now. But what’s really impressive about this pack is how on the ball it was with being timely when it came out. Full review: jestergoblin.com/?p=2717

Not to undermine the importance of your article Jester, but Black Panther and Storm got married in August of 2006, so the talks between Hasbro and Marvel aren't exactly at the same level you say they are.

Oh man, you're totally right! Looks like I got 2006 & 2007 mixed up. Made some updates, thanks for pointing that out! (I need to get a continuity editor!)
