Ultimate Iceman is good for a static, unarticulated figure. Cast in clear blue, it shows a good use of his powers. My biggest complaint is the hair, Ultimate Iceman should be wearing a bandana. A solid, unique figure. B-
Pyro is stuck in one pose, but it's the best pose possible for him. His tubes from the packpack look good but aren't flexible. Without an actual flame coming out of his hands, I wonder if kids know what he does. And his costume is painted oddly. C

I don't like how Pyro is so rigid. But otherwise the colors are great, the details are nice, and this is a very nice figure. B+
The Iceman figure I didn't care for, even though Iceman is one of my favorite charcters. I just don't care for the concept of a partially-iced iceman. It seems too situational and specific; in that sense it is not a versatile figure. I ended up ebaying mine away. In light of the other Iceman figures available, C.

For fans of the X-Men films, this is a great pairing of these two characters. While it is a little odd that Ultimate Iceman is paired up with classic Pyro, Iceman looks like he’d fit in fine with the other X-Men. As for Pyro, it’s slowly by surely adding to the ranks of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Full review: jestergoblin.com/?p=3579
