Thor Say what you will about his new duds, this is a great representation of the God of Thunder. His hammer conveys the image of motion and works in a variety of poses. And he's not pointing this time! A excellent, and needed, upgrade but I know not everyone agrees with me. A
Ares Two gods, one pack! Ares feels huge! His massive weapons are imposing and he looks like the God of War. Except for the face. I think he's supposed to be snarling, but it looks more like he's afraid of something much bigger than himself. Seriously, what would Ares be afraid of? B-

Stan Lee has always said that he would draw from any sort of inspiration when creating new heroes. Hear something about cosmic rays in space? Fantastic Four! Reading about discoveries in radiation? Spider-Man and Hulk are born! Figuring out there are mutations in nature? X-Men are made and don’t even need an origin story! Running out of ideas for making a new hero? Well, good thing mythology can be used by anyone! Time to learn about the gods! jestergoblin.com/?p=4794
