Hulkbuster Hulkbuster is brillant. His expression is not what I had in mind. Still he has very awesome detail. A
Hulk Hulk's expression is not alway's happy in the SHS. But still good detail. A
Note: Both these figures work really well together as far as this 2-pack goes.

Hulk looks great and is a vast improvement over the series 2 release. A new sculpt that fixes the pinheadedness of the old figure. The iron bar just adds to the character. Sure, he's wearing blue jeans instead of purple sweat pants but he looks good overall. One of the best representations of the character, but I can understand why some would be put off by his smile. B+
Hulkbuster Solider is a fine army builder but falls victim to some clear cross promotion. Everything except the gun looks great, dull colors, armored, what a solider should be. But his gun... it's clearly a repainted Nerf N-Strike. The bright orange kills this figure, I could live with the sculpt but the paint on the gun knocks this figure down from an excellent army builder to an okay one. B

One of my least favorite packs. To me, this is an absolute peg warmer. I use to see these all over the place. They did an OK job on the Hulk, but, unless you're building an army, the Hulkbuster soldier is just too generic to me. I never bought the large Hulk set, but didn't it come with a few of these guys? I'm just not a fan of Hulkbusters anyway, I mean, they're just guys with guns, no great uniform, just boring grey, and their guns look like Super Soakers. D

You’ve got to hand it to Hasbro. When they’re able to cross promote any product, they’re going to do it. The most successful example has to be the Mr. Potatohead line including the likes of Darth Tater, Optimash Prime, Tony Starch the Iron Man and even Toy Story Woody and Buzz potatoes. Sure, it doesn’t make any sense. Kind of like the cross promotion going on in this two pack. Continue reading: jestergoblin.com/?p=4457
