Overall, this is a decent pack, provided you score a good paint job. I was very eager to pick this up (whereas I cherry picked individual figures on ebay for CP1).
From best to worst:
Professor X is great! The expression on his face isn't exactly what I had in mind, but the overall attention to detail is very nice. The spinning wheels on the chair is the cherry on top. A.
Shadowcat is a fantastic pick for the fans. She suffers from many of the same problems as other female characters (no articulation and poor stability), but I'm just thrilled that they made her at all. AND they even included Lockheed! B+.
(Is it kind of lame that we get so excited when TWO out of eight figures are brand new?)
I'm not really a Silver Surfer fan, but I think most people would agree that shiny chrome is the way to go. I got rid of my SS from the Human Torch pack after I got this new SS. B.
I prefer the completely translucent Iceman from the 2-pack, but this Iceman is okay, especially for those who might have missed the semi-rare 2-pack. B-.
I feel like I already have too many Spidey figures, but this one is okay. It's a somewhat versatile action pose. B-.
Juggernaut was obviously not the reason I got CP2, but I decided to keep this version. I like the original pose, and to me, villain Juggs and X-man Juggs are almost like two different characters. B-.
I'm not a huge Cyclops fan and nor am I a fan of his ultimate costume. Plus this is virtually a straight repack from the Sentinel pack. Nevertheless, if you missed the sentinel megapack, this is a pretty decent action pose for Cyclops. C+.
Finally.... are you kidding me? A couple of arm hairs constitutes a repaint? As if we don't have enough Wolverines already, we get this laziest of all repaints. I did keep this one, but only because it "technically" had more features than the Phoenix 2-pack version, which I then ebayed. D.

Professor X A new figure and a needed one. His wheels actually spin too! I think the face is fine for the line. If anything, he looks too young. Still, an excellent representation. I'd still love a hoverchair version. A
Shadowcat I adore Kitty. She is off balance like most females, but can stand with some tinkering. She looks great. I would have preferred black instead of blue for the costume, but the inclusion of Lockheed makes up for it! A-
Iceman A repaint of an almost impossibly hard to find figure! I like the snowy look, it makes the snowball make more sense. Nice books and the details are painted on him this time. I honestly think I like this version more than the first release. B
Wolverine A "repaint" of the brown costume from wave 4. I loved that figure then and still do. The addition of arm hairs came at the expense of his undies, but it doesn't bother me too much. Both versions are great. A-
Juggernaut Cain is in his modern outfit, not ultimate. During his stint as a good guy, it looks right but isn't too exciting. I prefer the classic colors. C
Silver Surfer He's been Vac-metallized and it works well for him. For some reason, he's made of VERY light plastic. A fantastic repaint! If only he could be taken off his board... B+
Spider-Man A fun figure, and a repaint I'll accept in exchange for Professor X. C
Cyclops A repack, not a repaint from the Sentinel pack. I still love this figure, but as a straight repack, he loses points. C
Overall, a great pack for X-Men fans. I'm sure you can find a use for Spidey and Silver Surfer!

Kitty Pryde and Professor X both get A's. The rest gets an E for effort

Shadowcat Shadowcat is great. Her pose is very awesome. They even made Lockheed on her hand. A+
Cyclops Cyclops should be a repaint not a repack. His costume should be blue not black. A-
Professer Xaiver Professer Xaiver is excellent. If there is anything wrong with Professer Xaiver he looks too young for his age. Other than that he's great. A
Juggernaut Juggernaut has the same look except his costume is black. Nothing new for Juggernaut. B
Iceman Iceman pose is the same. But he looks great. His classic costume is just like when he first became an X-Men member. A
Spider Man Spider Man looks brilliant. His costume refers to the comics very well. A+
Wolverine Wolverine does not really look cool. His hair should be on his underarms not on top of his arms. C
Silver Surfer This figure of Silver Surfer is a great repaint. And a very much needed one. But mine came black instead of silver for some reason. A

The first Super Hero Squad Collector’s Pack was a decent jumping on point as a set for the line and included 8 repaints of various figures. But the set was overproduced and went on clearance. So when Hasbro released the second Collector’s Pack, they made less of them but included two fan favorite characters with brand new sculpts! So of course it was more popular and nearly impossible to find. Keep reading! jestergoblin.com/?p=4909
