Bishop is a nice sculpt but only has a moveable right arm. Wolverine looks cool but is pretty useless to me as is. His head will probably end up on a Combat Hero Desert Camo Duke body

I'm very happy to have Bishop round out my X-men 90s squad, but the details are amiss in this figure. The costume design is fairly faithful, but the paint job quality is a little uneven. The very limited articulation is the weakest link here. Only his gun arm moves, and even that arm is awkwardly positioned for not much versatility. I don't understand why they couldn't do more, especially when comparing this figure to Nick Fury, whose overall pose is almost identical but who has articulation in both arms, the waist and neck. Finally I wish he were a bit bulkier. Bishop was always supposed to be pretty big dude and that just doesn't come across with this fig. All in all, just a so-so figure. B-.
Edit: One more knock against Bishop. They didn't try to exhibit his energy powers at all.
Not much to say about Wolverine except I'm pretty sick of Wolvie figs (and I'm not big on unmasked figures) so this one was destined for ebay from the get go. The pose with the claws is a little unusual, almost like he just got his claws done at a nail shop. I haven't actually removed him from the packaging to see the odd ways this might play out. Wolvie's face also seems really young and punk-ish. I'm giving this figure a pretty subjective C-.

This set is almost the weakest in the wave, but not quite.
As a new character, Bishop is a great addition to the SHS line. He's in his lovely 90s costume, in fact he looks almost identical to how he appeared in the 90s cartoon. The sculpt is fine but Bishop hasn't looked like this in years, he's had his head shaved but this is the "iconic" version I guess (holy crap, Bishop was created 18 years ago). The biggest issue with this figure is the articulation: his right arm. That's it and what's worse is there aren't any other positions it looks good in. All in all, I'm just really unimpressed by this figure. If this were Galactic Heroes, he'd be the norm but SHS has such better offerings to compare him to. C-
Wolverine is wearing his costume from X-Men: Crossroads, everyone was wearing the same-ish thing back then. An all new sculpt, the head is one of the better unmasked ones we've gotten but still doesn't feel perfect. The hunch stance makes for a worthwhile scale while the ability to cross claws is neat, it's not enough to overcome the flaws of this figure. The articulation is very, very odd: shoulders, left hand and neck. Basically he can look like his hand is broken, covering his face (which is so not Wolverine) or claws crossed. That's it. No good action poses. C-

This two-pack is delightfully early-90s. Bishop is an okay figure but would have greatly benefited from some extra articulation – either at the arms or waist. Plus he isn’t showing off his powers and that’s part of what made him a fun character. Wolverine is another attempt of Hasbro trying something different. It kind of worked but getting a Wolverine that can only look like he’s self-maiming or hiding just feels wrong. Neither of these figures is bad, they’re just not terribly exciting.
