A decent Spidey and an okay Green Goblin but we KNOW there is a better Green Goblin sculpt out there. I find it odd Greenie is glued to his glider when Hobgoblin wasn't.

Pretty much every issue I had with Spider-Man back when he came out with Venom has been fixed. The wash is even, no stuck joints and has a better paint job. The eyes still bother me slightly but this is much, much better than the last attempt. His spider emblem is a little low on his chest but he's a decent looking Spider-Man. C+ Green Goblin is an odd mixed bag. As a representation of Normal Osborn, he's terrible. The cape and hood are completely out of character and the coloring is too dark. Plus the glider is the wrong color. In that regard, I give him a D- but if you think of him as Philip Urich, Green Goblin IV, the superhero then this suddenly goes from abysmal to a decent repaint. Aside from the lack of bare chest and not having torn clothes he's very close. Suddenly the colors work better, the glider is the right color and the hood and cape make sense! Plus, Goblin is glued to this glider which was one of the biggest flaws of Hobgoblin. As Green Goblin IV, I would put this figure at a solid B.

At the end of the day, this pack has two repaints, neither of which are essential. Sure, Spider-Man is a vast improvement of his last release, but there are much better Spider-Man figures out there. As for the Green Goblin, it’s a lot like the first Human Torch, turning him into someone else makes him feel like a slightly ingenious way to reuse a mold. But no matter how you cut it, he’s clearly just a cheap repaint. Full review: jestergoblin.com/?p=6591
