Silver Samurai is interesting because his design limits much of his articulation. A great pose but really limited arm movement from the sword and head, so he only has a few good looks. Still, he's a samurai in silver and looks pretty sweet. I'm amazed he wasn't in a Wolverine movie pack to be honest. I'm not sure how I feel about the pink sword, I'd prefer a less vibrant color. A decent figure hampered by design: C+
Wolverine is in his New Avengers costume and is great from the neck down. He's got a good hunch and great post that would be fantastic except his head is all wrong. He's looking down, like he saw a mouse, freaked out and popped his claws while screaming from dislocating his jaw. It just goes too far down! He'd be great with a smug face like the Wolverine in Wave 4. The head kills this for me. C-

Pairing up these two makes plenty of sense given Wolverine’s history with Japan, but making sense doesn’t make up for the fact that these figures both have major flaws. Wolverine looks like a coward, and he’s should never look like that (if he does, run). Silver Samurai looks good, but being mostly monochromatic and stuck in a single pose just makes him less exciting than he should be. Full review: jestergoblin.com/?p=6996
