I love how Chameleon was everyone's first idea with the suit and you were the first one to actually do it!
What did you use for a head on him?
And now my embarrassing question... what parts are used in ST Iron Man? War Machine arms but I don't recognize the torso. Probably because of the colors.

I freakin' love Iron Man! Is that white paint a tamiya product cause it looks awesome! I hate how my whites show up. What's next??? Tamiaya white spray paint. The paint was glossier than I wanted and the eyes and mouth were so shallow I had to tape off where I wanted and paint it that way. I'd have preferred a cleaner look. Thanks. Next up, another Iron Man armor variant this weekend.

I started last summer with Cobra Commander and Deadpool's head, didn't work. Then got civilian Storm Shadow for the body and used Duke's head from the GI Joe movie pack with Cobra Commander. I sanded down Duke's face and crew cut in the front to make him bald. I hate doing eyes, those are like the fifth pair I painted. I liked the suited Destro body best so used that instead of civilian Storm Shadow's. I'm glad he's done. Iron Man is Blast off torso from Collector's pack 3 and Silver Centurion legs. Thanks!

Love these Yaya! I have been wanting to do that Mark 2 armor also. Is the gamma-powered version from an actual comic, or just some of the "creative license" that I like to personally incorporate into my customs too?
Love the contrast of the grey and the silver / gunmetal color. Very clean paint apps on both, keep up the great work brother.
I'm putting together a Deep Sea Armor version soon, myself....hope they can compete with these beauties.

Nice repaints Yaya. Very detailed on the blue.
I started entries for those in the wiki. Just need to add the pics. ;D

FB- I liked the titanium action fig from the iron man movie line. I think there is a gamma powered alternate one-off suit I read about, but I just put the two together. Are you using new gi joe rise of cobra deep-sea fig for that one? I want to try an outer-atmospheric armor. My current project can be summed up in two words: Iron Justice...
Thanks guys. Lots of work, lots of fun.

Loving your work and I've got to second the question about your paints.
Do the figures have a wash or are they just that shadowy?

GH & Jester I use Tamiya paints. I used chrome silver on mark ii. I used gun metal grey and german grey on gamma. I'm experimenting with clear paints. I took the pics on my sun porch on a cloudy day with a low flash, so there was some natural shadows but nothing intentional. Thanks for looking, and the compliments.

After seeing the Mark2 from the latest 3-pack, I think Yaya's version is much better. Therefore, I have decided to steal it from him.
As a matter of fact, while he is busy reading this very post and and sticking out his chest with pride, I have snuck into the Yaya Armory and...."WEEOOO WEEOOO, ARRR ARRR ARRR"...*dogs barking*....
Another day Yaya...another day indeed!!

I pity the fool that tries to pinch my custom-made-mark ii-iron man-that i paid too much for the parts on ebay and coulda got them if ida waited. Yeah, i was kinda surprised to see the hasbro mark ii was not shiny like the one in the movie. who cares i'll get it and put it up. daddy loves him some iron man.
