Thanks for looking and the encouraging comments. Florida: Cloak's cloak is apoxie sculpt. I practiced with silly putty until i got it looking good. Then i rolled out some apoxie sculpt. It's really soft and sticky for a while, then it hardens after a few hours. I draped it over the figure and messed with it until I was happy. My friend, look at your porfolio, you haven't been lazy. Jester: I used a long-haired fine brush for the long strokes. the cloak is obviously not flat and i couldn't draw a straight line to save my life. Paint pen woulda been too thin and taping it off woulda been a nightmare.

Yaya: Which exact apoxie product is it, if you don't mind? www.avesstudio.com/Where have you found the best price?

I use apoxie sculpt. I bought the 1/4 lb. tiny tubs from a hobby store that specializes in the warhammer games, model airplanes, model cars, stuff like that. I didn't mess around with colored stuff 'cause I was gonna paint it anyway. I paid $12.50 or something like that. I got lucky and didn't have to order it. I looked at the link you sent and there's a store locator. The place I bought mine came up. Good Luck.
P.S. If you find it and use it wear rubber gloves and don't get any on your face. I might have just been me and an allergic reaction or something, but I paid the price for my customs when my face swelled after up after using it.

3-D Man Since everything is going 3-D lately, I figure I’d better jump on board. Cyclops head/torso, Bullseye arms, Vision legs. Thanks Community Chest! Swordsman This has been done before here but I needed one for myself. Captain America everything except Wolverine upper arms and sculpted parts. Cable – Bishop – Forge Cable – I saw a picture of him with Cap’s shield and read that he found it in the future and used it to inspire others. Bishop – I wanted to show him using his energy powers. Forge – Also done on this forum before. I didn’t know I wanted one until I saw it.

Awesome work as usual Yaya! Really good job on all the painted straight lines especially. And the scabbard is amazing!
I've been wanting to do a Triathalon, so thanks for the motivation partner.

Wow, I didn't expect Dr. Fate's head to blend in so well.
I also love how as customizers we're progressively getting into weirder and weirder characters.
And great work on the M on Blue Marvel's chest, I hate having to do stuff that detailed.

Hmmmm, Couple of those guys look sorta familiar...only better. You suck! I love the way the colors contrast on Blue Marvel. I have got to get me some of that tamiya white cause it looks so smooth, almost like icing. Where do you get your paints Brosef?
Oh, and excellent job all around in case you missed my sarcasm-coated compliments!! Think I'm gonna have to do an extra AIM Agent now cause that looks pretty slick with BigHeadGuy.

Thanks Guys. JG: I hate doing chest emblems and eyes. I do not have the hands of a surgeon. I'm kinda working on an Avengers related trajectory which is why...
FB: I'm stealing all your ideas 'cause you got there long ago. Thanks. I used Citadel paints from Games Workshop. I like the colors, they're thicker and they don't need as many coats as Tamiya which can also come across really glossy. The A.I.M dudes look like they have latex jumpers on. If I had as many A.I.M guys as you have S.H.I.E.L.D. guys, that'd be a photo op. I get my paints at hobby stores that cater to model cars or dungeons & dragons stuff. The big 3 for me are Citadel, Tamiya and Testors. All of them have places to pop in your zip code for retailers in your area.

Solo I saw this guy on another custom site. I looked him up and he's worked with Spidey, and that was good enough for me. He was an excuse to use up some GI Joe fodder. Paladin Everyone does one of these. I used a smoky clear paint for his visor so you could still see his eyes.

Great work on them - I'm surprised Paladin hasn't actually gotten made by Hasbro yet. It's such an easy change.
And Solo is incredible! Is the head Indiana Jones with sculpted hair or something else?
