These hit the stores this weekend--- and it looks like Mattel finally looked at their scales--
Woody and Buzz seem to be about 25% bigger-- so this line is now in much more scale with exisiting mini scale lines now-
Almost makes the price tag seem worth it now- as they actually have some "meat" to them-- I just couldnt buy them before (well before they hit clearance)- because they just seemed a little too small--
Dont have the same reservations now- plus how can you go wrong with adding an octopus, triceratops, unicorn, and a Hedgehog in Lederhosen to your ranks.

For comparison... As my first Toy Story 3 Buddy Pack, this one is really good. Buzz has a great pose and fantastic paint. Twitch, while a tad undersized for my preference, is a fantastic generic green mutant bug. Need an alien for Buzz to fight? Twitch can do that! Need some giant bug gladiator to fight in your twisted toy arena? He’s great for that too. As a toy with no history, he has to stand on his design and he does. Full review: jestergoblin.com/?p=2490

Should we add these to the wiki? I know theyre not Hasbro, but we do have Toybox Heroes on there. And as Jesters pic shows, the scale it pretty close. What do u guys think?

Id like to see it-- but it may be a bit difficult to find all the packs that were from the first 2 movies--
There were many store exclusive multipacks- and constant packing of the same figure with another character-- lots of packs could even be skipped if you got the right ones first-- problem was Mattel doesnt seem to have a checklist out there for these and with so many repacks sometimes its a crapshoot-- you could even wait and get a lot of the figures in multipacks for cheaper.

Toy Story 3 Buddy Pack: Rex & Slinky Dog As a two-pack, this one is just boring. Rex doesn’t really look anything like his on-screen counterpart other than being a dinosaur and being green. It’s like Mattel was making some little dinosaur figures and decided to slap the Toy Story logo on them to charge more. As for Slinky Dog, even if he had his extra ear that wouldn’t be enough. The fact that he’s supposed to be made of a slinky and isn’t, well that’s just poor design. Throw in the quality control issue and I’m left feeling ripped off. It’s a shame, because Buzz and Twitch was an excellent two-pack but this one is enough to put me off Toy Story 3 Buddy Packs for good. Full review: jestergoblin.com/?p=3591

I say add them to the wiki. They're close enough. ^_^

I vote that these be added to the wiki. The scale is very close, and the line has turned more to the style of Heroes than it had originally began with. I have some cards from the old packs from the first two movies and on the back are listed many of the two packs, I could post them here if your interested. I would also supply pictures, but at the moment my camera is not working and won't be repaired until maybe after the holidays.

So this set is a cowgirl and a horse, but she can’t even ride the horse. That seems like failed execution. It’s like getting a Ghost Rider with a motorcycle he can’t ride or the Thing with a car he doesn’t fit in. Throw in the fact that these two both have balancing issues; it’s pretty apparent that while Buzz and Twitch were cool, they were exceptions, not the norm. You must have gotten a wonky set, my Jessie and Bullseye stand just fine, Maybe stick them in hot water and reshape the legs. It might have been cool to have an alternate Woody that fits on the horse, but if that's the only Jessie, I'd rather a regular standing pose than one who's always in a weird squat.

I know! I am SO close to buying it but it's absolutely huge.
I am disappointed it doesn't come with a barrel of monkeys to deploy.
