* taps mic * Is this thing on? Anyway, finally got some photos up: Like always, the full review is written up here: jestergoblin.com/?p=11287 I like the figures, but they aren't perfect. For example, the scale is way off: Action League Hal Jordan & Movie Abin Sur: And sadly the accessories don't quite fit... Has anyone even seen these figures for sale? I ended up grabbing them off eBay for retail plus only $6 to ship the lot - which is cheaper then me driving to the nearest Wal-Mart!

The scale is weird, but the constructs seem to fit OK. As for seeing them in retail - nope, never.

I don't understand this set: jestergoblin.com/?p=11314I mean, who wanted Green Man? WHO? Good news: Sinestro looks AMAZING. The mace construct works great too, the space is much larger allowing regular characters to use them. Bad news: Green Man looks awful. Hal Jordan is identical to the other pack. Constructs in action:

Saw Wave 1 of the GL 3 packs on clearance at WM last night for $3.99 mostly had Hal, Guy, John sets. Dalton GA.
Finally saw the Flashpoint sets at the Dalton GA Kmart today, plenty of each, Almost sorry I don't collect this toy line now. But not sorry enough to start.

On Lord, I only have one pack from the last wave. Ugh. Luckily I only want 2 from the Flashpoint wave.

Just got the Flashpoint wave.
Quick impressions:
Flash & "Citizen" Cold: Flash is translucent and the back of his boots aren't painted. "Citizen" Cold is Captain Cold and looks good.
Wonder Woman & Aquaman: Wonder Woman is good, nothing crazy special. Aquaman is interesting and includes two accessories - a trident and stand.
Cyborg & Elemental Woman: Cyborg is really good, heavily armored. Elemental Woman comes with a stand, which she doesn't need. Her figure is really nice too.
Project Superman & Batman: Project Superman is an awkward figure. Reminds me of Saint Walker but he's just... awkward. Alternate Batman is good, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him repainted. He has stubble.

I don't care if you call him Captain Cold or Citizen Cold, but this is a Flashpoint pack worth getting if you're a fan of Flash's Rogues. Full review: jestergoblin.com/?p=11397

WARNING: THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR FLASHPOINT. Project Superman & Flashpoint Batman: jestergoblin.com/?p=11393Project Superman shouldn't exist and Batman's eyes are wrong. Unless you really like Flashpoint, this is an easy pass.

I'm still kind of in shock that these figures got an ENTIRE WAVE DEDICATED TO FLASHPOINT. But even if you don't like Flashpoint, if you're looking for evil versions of Aquaman and Wonder Woman, these two will do just fine in a pinch. Also, some spoilers for Flashpoint in the review: jestergoblin.com/?p=11399

Yes, Flashpoint seems like a weak series to be basing toys off of.
That said, at least they're making an honest effort to tie things in with their comics. I don't think Marvel/Hasbro did that with any of the SHS waves. I can think of a couple of series that would make for some awesome figures.
SHS did tie in figures with the movies which is probably the only way to make money these days.
