DC seems to copying Marvel's figure succes a lot lately. With the build a figure sets and the Superfriends line. (they looked like they were sculpted by the same guy) I think mini figures might not be too far off. I personally wouldn't mind, I would be all over a Green Lantern set.

fischer price makes DC's superfriends right? I used to love those little knights. I wouldn't want a DC equiv of SHS to look like those though.

They recently ended the DC Minimates line. Supposedly this was done in favor of DC Direct producing their own SHS type line. Just rumors, of course, but I thought I'd spread them.

they were shown at either the last NYCC or SDCC... there was a playset shown and a few Batman villians.

They are Imaginext Super-friends. There is not much more that Bats, Joker, Penguin and Superman right now but I'm hoping they expand.
I find the Imaginext stuff is pretty close in scale.
I've got the pictures of them, but being new I haven't figured out how to do attachments yet and I really don't want to resort to photobucket.
Plus I have some comparison pics of different toy lines.

I'd love to see a much larger number of Imaginext Super Friends figures done by Mattel (in SHS like 2 packs). Given the great batcave the put out already, I can't understand why there isn't a horde of figures already!

I just noticed Mr Freeze was released. Are there any other characters due to be produced for the DC Imaginext line?

That's awesome! I hope they'll eventually round out some other villains: Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, Killer Croc, Clayface, and Harley Quinn.
Heck! Some more of the Justice League, too! Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, Aqua Man, Flash, Martian Manhunter, Hawkman, and Black Canary!
Perhaps one day.....one day.

Hello In regards to the Superfriends line there is a 4th new figure ( Green Lantern, Riddler, Two Face) that is shown in the video he comes up lower left of two face on the screen. The toyark picture snapped the photo early before it came up. It is hard to tell what character it is. he has a big accessory with him. If you google SDCC09 - Mattel/DC Panel 1/5 you can see the video on you tube. Its at just before the 7 minute mark. If anyone had any ideas on who it is please let us know. Thanks

Does anyone have access to pics of the new stuff? Not being a member of Toyark, I can't access those. I found new additions to the Imaginext Super Friends. Some are repaints, but I've found the accessories are a better compliment to SHS than the figures anyway. I like the figures though, but just not the new generic ones. There's anew motorized Batmobile, A Batman truck (Repaint of safari vehicle), Joker Van (repaint of ambulance), Batman rescue set (repaint of rescue helicopter), Mr. Freeze cave (repaint of jungle lions cave) and a Riddler car.
