I can't see why they reboot spiderman after 3 movies, but they let the flaming pile of poop x-men movies continue.
I would rather go see a chick flick than this garbage

I agree with b3n4, what a stinkin' pile of poop! Sure, the graphics look cool and all, but sincerely why? I am seriously hoping Bryan Singer uses the whole "alternate time line" loop for this movie series; it's the only hope to get out of what a mess he's made.

THIS MOVIE WAS SO GOOD.
Saw it Friday night, it's so entertaining. Easily the best Marvel movie since Iron Man.

I enjoyed the first hour...from there it went downhill. Ended horribly. Not a fan of this one. Putting it with Wolverine Origin. Blah.

Amazingly, surprisingly good. I wasn't expecting it to be so well-done. For me this places second in the X-Men movie rankings, behind X2. Great Wolverine appearance. The only part that fell flat for me was Emma Frost. Not well acted and not particularly sexy, not even good special effects on her. But White Queen aside, great movie. I recommend!

Saw it tonight. Mediocre and predictable, but not unwatchable. Not as good as any X-Men movie, but certainly better Wolverine Origins. And I totally agree with laserlemon abt January Jones - she was horrendous. A mannequin coulda played a better Frost.

I have to say that I enjoyed it very much. It did start slow, but I think it added a lot of elements that the other movies have failed to include. Perhaps it was more inline with an action movie than a comic movie, but I felt there were enough knods to the fanboys to keep me happy. And I will agree with the lackluster performance by Mrs. Jones. It seemed as though she applied little effort to the role. Perhaps in line with the movies plot, she overly focused her concerns on her appearance, and not what's on the inside.

Sorry, I didn't mean to start a whole thing about January Jones... but even the tornado guy outshined her. ;) James McAvoy was a great young, arrogant Charles. Very groovy indeed! And Michael Fassbender was a very sympathetic but scary Magneto. Hey, does anyone know if Stan was in this one?

7th - you thought it was better than X3?!?! Its close, but X3 wins with the action alone (and the inclusion of Colossus and Juggernaut). Similar level of movie, only X3 was more "fun". I didnt find this one's characters compelling in any way, nor did I find the movie that exciting.
