Yes, saw all 3 today @ TRU. Picked up the Gwen Stacy pack. Paint job wasnt the best but they only had 1 of each so I could be picky. Basically I just got it for her cuz the move Lizard is dumb! Not interested in the rest either - I already have the other Antivenom, which Im happier with (cuz I dont display that Venom sculpt, but we only have 1 Carnage). I saw them too. Besides Gwen Stacy, it was such a disappointment. They couldn't at least release the unreleased Kraven.

sweet. I'll have to cancel my bbts pre-order. No sense in paying $20+ for shipping...

They couldn't at least release the unreleased Kraven. Agreed. I mean its not like AntiVenom is in this or any other Spidey movie. AND they wasted money repainting another Anti-Venom when they already had one ready to go. So dumb.

I picked up the Lizard pack, and the Super-Villain surprise. I'm thinking of picking up the third just for Anti-Venom. But only if I can find it cheap!

I saw it today. What did you guys think? It was pretty good! I didn't have the same goosebumps I did for the first movie, but that's only because it's been such a short time since part 3 came out. Standouts for me were the casting and the character moments. Andrew Garfield reminded me a bit of Shia Laboeuf, but not in a bad way. Spidey's dialogue could at times be a little cocky or mean-spirited, but at least he has more of a sense of humor in this movie. This was definitely a step forward for me as I felt Raimi's installments leaned too far into melodrama and occasionally camp. The action was a little lacking for me -- I would have preferred to have seen Spidey fighting more street level crooks, and for the ending I would have preferred something to have actually happened with the, uh, "special" cops. As a whole, I felt it was at least as good as Raimi's Spider-Man. Better character-wise, weaker action-wise. If we could have the best of each, it would make a perfect Spidey movie. Worth watching for anyone who liked the first movies, and definitely for anyone who disliked them. They took a pretty good approach to a reboot that nobody said had to happen.

I think Amazing Spider-Man the movie was convoluted. The Marc Webb Spider-Man movie had multiple subjects that seemed interesting like the mystery of Peter's parents, the link between Peter's father and the Osborn experiments that created Spider-Man, the search for Uncle Ben's murderer, and the battle between the Lizard. However, none of these subjects with in the Amazing Spider-man movie have anything in common with each other outside of Spider-Man. Amazing Spider-Man might have been a better movie if one of the subjects with in the movie was chosen as the main theme of the entire story. The subject I liked from the movie was the mystery of Peter's Parents. This means that uncle Ben's murderer, the birth of the Lizard, and Gwen's relationship to Peter would have been deleted because they have no connection to the mystery behind Peter's parents. I am glad the MCU is controlling the Spider-Man stories.
