Well at least there are plenty of other movies that might have a chance of putting out SHS figures: The Wolverine, X:Days of Future Past, Winter Soldier, GotG, SM 2, A2, Thor 2, Dr Strange, Antman...

I just picked up both box sets at a Toys R Us in Sacramento for 12.99 each. The cashier said he wasn't sure they were supposed to be out on the shelf yet

Has anyone on the east coast found the new 3-packs yet?

Found both packs today at Target in the Boston area.
Quick impressions (as in I just opened them)...
Of the six figures, three of them are amazing improvements. Iron Monger is fantastic, War Machine is great and Mark I is very well done.
HAMMER Drone is good, and probably more screen accurate. Mark V is a few paint applications from being perfect and the Mark III is good, but not great.
All in all, I am initially more satisfied with these than expected.

JG: Glad you found them. Didn;t realize you were in Boston. My brother just move up there after retiring from the Air Force. Have to look you up when I get up there to mooch some "chowdah" off him.

I saw them, but passed. I think this is one of the few sets I've done that with. Real bummer. They should have included a new sculpt with each set. They'd have my money if they did so. Now, I foresee these sets being shelf warmers and Hasbro will be further inclined to discontinue SHS releases. -_-;

Oh, almost thought those were new sculpts since I don't collect the non-SHS. ...

Wow. I never expected hasbro to do that. That really sucks. Unless of course they bring out new characters built like regular SHS instead of those crummy playskool heroes. They I might have to get my playskool on...
