That Falcon may have been inspired by my version, but it blows mine away! Really love the mechanical wings, wish I had seen those first.
And the lines on Archangel look production, straight and clean.
Good job!

Thanks FB. Glad you like them. Alright need some help for find the right Base figure. I want to do the Deadpool from the recent "Battle of the Atom" storyline. I haven't read it, but the alternate future deadpool looks awesome. I already have a Zartan head that would work perfect for it (though i was planningon using it for something else. I just need to figure out the body. Though the chest isn't quite right, i was leaning towards the movie's Harry Osborn Goblin. I'm just wondering, is there anyone else i might be forgetting about? Thanks for the help!

So i got tired of waiting for a Hawkeye figure to drop below $7 on Ebay (let alone the $10 to $12 that he usually sits at). So i opted to take a $3 Zartan figure and plop a young Snakeeyes head on him. The kid's hair was a little too long though so i had to sculpt all knew hair. It doesn't look bad on the figure but when i had the head separate, he looked like a blonde Frankie Avalon. I wound up using design elements from the movie and the Marvel Heroes games, but relied mostly on his Super Hero Squad on-line game design. Hence no shield logo on his chest. Instead i put it on his quiver, which belonged to a stormshadow and had a big weird circle on the back of it anyways. DAF's Critical Thoughts: I really hate those lines on his arms. i redid them several several times and this was the straightest i got them. i really should have sculpted them on and then painted them. There is also a little divet on the face where i dremelled too deep to get of his hair. cant' see it in the pictures, but it's all i see when i look at the actual figure. I could have easily smoothed it out with the dremel or filled it in with sculpt when i was doing the hair. It was one of those thing you don't notice until after you paint it. That for the Suggestion guys with the Neo Viper. I'm leaning towards doing that, or maybe going with the green armored Duke because he is super cheap right now, and i can use he head for other figures. Warpath coming soon!

I have a few headless Neo Vipers that I got awhile back. If you'd like one, just send me your address. But make sure you let me know you sent it in here cause I don't always log-in.

So i didn't like the bumps on his legs which were supposed to be for his blue and red costume, so i dremeled those off. I also sculpted on his mask and velcro pads with ties on his gloves. I have a few headless Neo Vipers that I got awhile back. If you'd like one, just send me your address. But make sure you let me know you sent it in here cause I don't always log-in. Thanks but i found one the other day, right after my last post, in a fodder box at a local comic shop.

"Galactipool's cosmic appetites Demand Great Sacrifice! Though this world Dies, know that I too, suffer! For a minute on the lips doth equate to a lifetime on the hips!" Almost done with my Deadpools. Only like 4 to 7 more to go. Thanks again for the kind words on Warpath. Yeah i've thought of getting the Wolverine a few times, but my son has more then enough Wolverine figures... though i guess this one would be for me. maybe at some point.

I use a Krylon fusion spray paint as a base and then let it sit a week to help bond it. Then i got over it with Delta Ceramcoat. You can find it at hobby lobby for about $1.35 a 2oz bottle. I've seen some websites say not to ever use this brand, but i like it as it usually goes in smoothly. Takes a few coats usually. And then i seal it with Mod Podge matte sealer. I'll still occasionally get a little paint wear in the joints, but for the most part they hold up really well against kids playing with them.

So i had originally planned this to just be a simple repaint of her costume. But then i decided to add a sword. And then her arm joint broke as i was taking her apart forcing me to hunt for a tiny screw to fix it. Her factory paint job was terrible so i decided to redo it with a new skin tone. Then i realized her hair was the wrong color. It's hard to see in the picture but her hair is black with a purple shine when the light hits it, similar to how it was in the X-Force comics. Even with all the unintentional extra work, I'm very pleased with how she turned out. Not sure if i can let the son have this one. Damn going to have to track down another one now.
