Thanks everyone for all your compliments watertorture I'd have to say Shade was probably the most time consuming of them all. this is his recipe Head- JLU Shade Torso- Captain Cold Arms & Legs- SHS Movie Doc Ock Cane- New Batman Adventures Mad Hatter Getting the cane (or as I call it do to the size his swagger stick, lol)just right in the hand, also shaving down the captain cold body with my cutting and sanding tool on my dremel for the collar look. Galan Glad you like him, noticed after I took the picture though that I forgot to put his power ring on him. If I get a chance I will try to take updated pictures of my originals (the ones with my laptop in the background)so you guys can see some much clearer pictures of them. deadpoolandfriends Thanks, I was on ebay one time when I first started customizing and saw one of him in Marvel Select format that looked amazing, so figured I'd try my hand at it. He didn't come out too bad for not having fine tipped or super small brushes back then.

Welcome to the Forum Jon! Look forward to seeing some more of your work soon. "Make Mine Marvel! cough cough" Really like the paint job on the Compound Hulk! We have a good group of guys on here, and have a lot of fun. We will get kids in here too, and it's great to see their first customs and how they progress. Everyone is really uplifting and positive. Except when they call me out for being hypocritical. (et2west is on My List!) Welcome again...now get bizzy customizing!

Hey Floridaboy (I'm a Floridian as well, Daytona area actually) glad you like them. My marvel custom is about 80% or so finished so will be hopefully posting it sometime tomorrow... I'm pretty happy with him so far, will attach a wip photo I took before I really started painting shortly (replying on my phone right now) Alright, edited the picture in photobucket to hide the paint I already did on him, hopefully will have the finished project up later today. Let the speculation begin... Which Marvel character do you think it could be?

Alright, he is only 90% or so complete, but said I would post him. So wanted to post him before I forgot (haven't slept yet...) so hope you all enjoy one of my all time favorite x-factor members (besides the current run's Gambit of course) I proudly present all for Mr. Marvel (flboy) Strong Guy Will update this post with the 100% finished and sealed version when I get to it, probably when I wake up. Trying to transfer all 20+ photos of my fodder to the fodder thread, but either my computer is acting up, or photobucket is. Will hopefully have it up shortly.... Hope you all like him, promise he will look even better when he's finished.

Glad you like him, figured I'd focus on the MArvel one seeing how I haven't been giving my Marvel customs much love.
The Recipe is 90s xmen animated series head AL Arkillo body and legs AL Kilowog arms The Chest logo is a random arm plug from the 5" Bane I popped for his head
The body had a collar, and you can't see it in that picture but I cut out a gap of it so you can see more of the blue shirt underneath. Trying to figure out how I make the torso look more vest like still, thinking a thin black line from the opening and bring it down kind of like the body of the 5" which is in my fodder images.

I thought I would commit blasphemy for you FB, a Marvel character made from mostly DC parts.... lol
Yes sir it is, saw how it was with his body and luckily the head fits perfectly into Arkillo's neck hole and isn't looking at his feet or up in the sky either. fits like a glove. That picture doesn't do it justice, just barely put it in so it would stay, when it is in completely it looks much better (have a picture of his head in the untouched Arkillo body and it looks awesome, however can't share the picture cause it also has my contest entry in it as well.) Will make a trip over to my dad's and dig out the other one I have and let you know if it has any paint rubs or anything. Can't wait to see what you could do with him. I think hulk hands would look better on him personally, but ruined a Kilowog arm trying to shave it down to fit the hulk hand nicely.... Bet you could make it work though.
The other idea I was thinking about for him was to keep the shoulder pads and attach hulk arms to them, but don't have clay to fill in the muscles to make them look more like sleeves. Also thought FB would like it better with it was all DC made (minus the head of course) lol

Ahh man! I should have guessed Strong Guy. I was thinking it the other day for your marvel character. For the Vest, i say use a thin line of Milliput or Apoxy sculpt. milliput is like $7 at hobby lobby. I recommend smoothing it onto the figure, and then scrapping away the excess. Looking awesome tough.
