Sgt. Kabukiman NYPD is high on my list too Such a ridiculously funny character! And you know, now that you mention it I think Toxie was maybe in the background of one of my other pics once before. I don't think I ever had a direct pic though. I'll definitely keep you guys posted. As for Toxin, here's an early WIP pic, since I got the thumbs up from Reaper Check it out: Still early, but he's comin along at a good pace I feel. I have the proportions all where I'd like them, and the sculpting on the main parts is about where I'd want it to be. I have to add some surface detail and some more crazy symbiote tendrils, and then it'll be time to move onto paint! More to come- Thanks for lookin guys!

great sculpting! I like the proportions becasue they fit the cartoony style of the other SHS. will he have a closed mouth?

Thanks man! Yup, We're shooting for a more subdued, Spidey-mode Toxin, if you will. So, closed mouth, more spidey-like build (rather than the larger, more venom-like build with the toothy head and tongue). I really dig Toxin and particularly this look that we decided on, so back when Reaper and I were in the planning stages, figuring out what version to do and whatnot, I was stoked when he suggested this version as well, because this is really sort of my ideal Toxin. He's that middle ground between Symbiote Spidey and the large, bulkier tooth n' tendril symbiotes in a way, which should in turn make him really stand out on the shelf! So, I'm really excited about this one

Alrighty guys and gals! After a long trying week of too much work than I'd care to admit, migraine headaches and a stomach bug, I finally got around to finishing up the Toxin figure I showed you guys earlier in the early uncured/unpainted stage. Really happy with the end result here...The colors pop REALLY nicely on the shelf amongst the other Spidey characters, he fits in really nicely scale-wise between Spidey and Venom, and those giant mitts of his give him a nice center of balance and a Toxin pose straight out of the comics. So, I think between the two of us collaborating we got this guy right where Reaper wanted him! And without further ado, some pictures! Here's a pic of Toxin out of the comics to start, for comparison: And here's the finished Toxin figure solo and alongside everyone's favorite webhead. I wanted to get a shot of him with Venom and Carnage, but I had all of my stuff and my room's in shambles, so I just grabbed a spidey from my fodder bag. You'll get the point, hopefully! So, one more piece of the set down The next few are going to be complicated to say the least...I've got ideas, but I've been spending a good amount of time figuring out how to engineer them. I'll keep ya'll posted as info come along, and have pics once I've got a new sculpt coming together. As always, thanks for lookin' everyone! -MJ

Toxin came together flawlwssly. Such a sweet paint job once again! While its more detailed than the average SHS figure, the accents in the colors (on the black especially) really make me feel like I'm looking at a picture from a comic book. Well done! and aren't you going to show another custom that you have completed?

Thanks dude! The grey highlights on the black portions were a decision I made at the beginning, actually. I like that sort of contrast that you get from Toxin's coloring in the books, so I figured it should work as well on the figure too, and fortunately it came out looking as I'd hoped! And what other figure are we referring to? Toxie? If so, I'm not gonna be showing the old one because I don't like it...I'll just be waiting til I get around to the new sculpt. Yea, I'm anal like that

Hey dudes! Ok, here's an ironically small update with what I've been up to. Once again, due to the delays caused by my move, I'm still workin' out Reaper's list of customs, but making smoother progress now that I'm settling into the new pad! For this update, I've chosen to post a pic of a larger figure I've got going (and almost done). I'm literally a few small sculpted details and a paint job away from having this guy where I want him! And I'm hoping he's going to look pretty sweet displayed alongside Mole Man! So without further ado.... Giganto! I love workin' on these big guys because I not only love the look of the bigger creatures, but also love details, and a larger pallet means more opportunity to take advantage of that. Giganto comes in at just under 7" in height, so he's going to tower over the FF crew! Alrighty, that's it for now...I'll hopefully have another big update soon since I'm working on 3 figures simultaneously over here Thanks for looking guys!

Freaking amazing, Joe!
The rancor base was a perfect fit for Giganto. You can't even tell that it was a rancor! I really like that you moved the hands downward as if he's grabbing at bystanders on the ground below.
I can't wait to display this badboy when all is said and done. I'm sure this won't be your last Giganto either, as I suspect other members will want to commission one for their own collections. Again, superb work amigo! Can't say that enough!

Thanks guys! I'm VERY excited to start paint on this guy, personally. You may think "Ok. Mole Monster. Green. Check" but there's so much more goin' on with this guy in the source material than just plain green. I already selected a pallet I want to work from and Mike, I think you're gonna approve of the final display piece I did a sketch for it and...well, let's just say if it comes out looking like the drawing then your FF display is going to have a decent little addition to it before long!
