I sent mine in late January, they e-mailed me that it was received on February 11th. And then on the 12th, I got an e-mail saying "We will redeem your certificate in June 2008, which is when the exclusive figures will become available." So if anybody gets their mail-in redemption figure before me, I'll be very surprised.

Perhaps you got one being the first one to send it in? lol) I kinda had a hunch maybe I'd see the figures sometime around the end of July, but now that I know they're not shipping until June makes me think that maybe it might come sometime in August.

so are you saying that these are only available by mail-away or that they will be out in stores soon

They will never be in stores, hence the term "mail-away"

I wouldn't be suprised if they did a re-deco and released it, but like JP said you'll never see this exact combo in the stores...probably.

They will never be in stores, hence the term "mail-away" If I had to put money on it I'd say it WILL be released again. Paint scheme may be a bit different, but it'll find its way out. This is Hasbro we're talking about...nothing's sacred. The R2-D2 from the Galactic Heroes line started off as a mail-away figure as well, and was later re-packaged with luke in a 2pk. A big company like Hasbro is out to make money and doesn't produce an entirely new mold for an item that would see such limited release. God know I've ben collecting their crap long enough to know that!

I don't think that a repaint will ever be considered the same as the original. Look at 2-sword Anakin. The original is a $10 figure, the one with switched light saber colors is a dime a dozen. I highly doubt that mail-away figure in its mail-away form will ever be released in teh same exact color scheme.
I also have an inkling that the Adventure Heroes and Robot Heroes lines are about to be discontinued. There is just not enough interest for these to be worthwhile. Every store I've been to recently, along with friends around the country, there are racks and racks full of these two lines. My local Target has full racks of these without more than one or two 2-packs sold of either line in the last few weeks.

We know they've got a few more waves of AH planned for the other 2 movies, plus they still need to do Toht RH will probably go on hiatus after the next wave hits and the next movie comes out.

Yes, I believe we've got the wave with short round in it, and the wave with Indy and his Dad both planning on coming out, but who knows if it ever becomes a reality. Toy Box Heroes (Toy Story line) seems to have dropped off the face of the earth. If Robot Heroes hasn't yet done a comprehensive group of figures from the original line, then I doubt the "movie" ones will be successful at all. People just don't care about these two lines at all.
