Name: Ken Age: 35 Hobbies: Gaming with cool figures! Hi everyone, I was looking for some new figures to run demos of my miniature games with at conventions and stumbled upon this awesome forum! I have been using the various Hasbro Heroes figures for demos as well as the DC BatB, Hellboy Buddies, Power Rangers and my current favorites Doctor Who Time Squad. I plan on picking up the Mezco's Tiny Terrors as well and maybe the new Mattel Toy Story figures. I really love this scale for figures and have had tons of fun using them in my games. I hope more companies start making them! If anyone is interested in a miniature game system designed for toys please stop by my website at radioactive-press.weebly.com/

Hey man, nice to meet you. Welcome to the forums! I'm glad there's some appreciation for table top games being represented using these figures. I always thought they'd be good for that. I used to play a Lego inspired table top that me and my friends created that was pretty fun. Mostly now I don't have anyone to play minatures with since I moved. I like your books though. If you ever need another person to do some art for your games you should check me out at michaelcarsillo.blogspot.com/ . I love drawing monster, robits, superheroes, undead, dinosaurs and such. Are you from the states? What conventions do you attend? Ever been to DragonCon?

Thanks!
Heroes figures are perfect for gaming!
Its funny you should mention Dragoncon. I live in the Atlanta area and that is the only major convention I attend. I plan on running some demos there this year. I am also attending a local Doctor Who/Stargate con where I plan on using my Time Squad figures.
I have an artist committed for all of my current game projects but if I do need some extra art I'll definitely keep you in mind!

I've been on here for a few months, but figured I should introduce myself...
Name: Long Nguyen Age: almost 30 Location: MI Hobbies: MMA, Cars, SHS Number of SHS: 100+
I just started getting into SHS this past summer...mostly found them at garage sales and flea markets...but as my collection increased, the hard to find ones were found on eBay and then finally got myself here trying to help others and trade for figures I don't have.
I just work, and try to study for my Architectural license. I coach and train in wrestling and mixed martial arts... Now, I'm bout to have a baby and ready for a change in my life... and hopefully the baby will enjoy toys as much as I do, heheh...

......nope, I'm sure he's just old (ok, my turn) I never did this but its never to late, right? Name: Lavelle Davis Age: 42 Hobbies: Art / Comic Books / Customizing Occupation: Military MISSING Figures: H.E.R.B.I.E. & Kraven My journey began over 5 yrs ago when my son was only 2. I purchased a small 2-pack SHS set that I saw at the local K-mart, this start a small collection (about 8 figures) that only lasted a few months. Many years had passed before my son started having an interest in Super Heroes........one day my kids were playing and they came across a small zip-lock bag and ask me if they could play with the toys inside. (LET THE GAMES BEGIN) That was the start of both my kids learning about SUPER HEROES (Marvel & DC), it was awesome. This lasted for about 2 yrs, both my kids to identify almost every character in the Marvel/DC Universe (I was so PROUD).......& even the wife started to get into it also. My son and I had a decent size SHS / Action League Collection before I found this site. Its been over 2 yrs now here and our collection has grown (and seen a few bumps in the road also), my son decided that he was done and gave me the collection. During this time, I started customizing to "fill" in the gaps to my collection.....I use SHS / Action League / Batman: Brave & the Bold / G.I. Joe Combat Heroes / Indiana Jones Adv heroes / Dr. Who Time Squad / Star Wars Galactic Heroes / Playskool & ImagiNext figures. I'm only missing two figures that were never released (H.E.R.B.I.E. & Kraven). My collection has grown to a vary large amount (approx. over 400 figures du5tin.proboards.com/thread/2537/collection ). My son has now come back but has his own collection......but we still have fun together !!!! D's

Hello, I'm new in this forum, and for courtesy, I think that I need a presentation.
First, I'm Mexican, my english isn't the best and I can fail with the idiom.
Second, here, in my country, is hard to find a Hero figure, I have a lot of heroes, but only Galactic Heroes, maybe...I am the greatest collection of Galactic Heroes here, in Mexico, but...I wanna find others with the same hobby, great collectors...because I have a crazy dream, have one of each of the Galactic Heroes, a complete collection, that sounds very problematic, but I have hope.
Third, I have a syndrome, Asperger, sometimes I can be some "strange", but I'm not a bad guy, I'm only me.
Four, because in my country is very difficult find a Galactic Hero, my collection is very small (but I start with it at the four years, I guess that it was in 2001...I'm not sure), maybe my figures are common, but I'm happy with my collection...maybe I give to all one or two surprises
