I'm wondering if they are having problems making the Woody character. If his knees were like they were in the movie, the hard plastic would snap with ease...

maybe they're trying to do themed waves. Is "backyard patrol" this waves theme? maybe next wave should be something to do with the that kid's room. thatway woody, bo peep, slinky, and those tight little army men could get in.
aw man, can you imagine a theme based on sid's toys? THAT would be cool!

zurg would probably be part of an al's toy barn theme
there could be al's apartment: woody with bullseye(able to ride)and jesse with stinky pete

I just checked these out at TRU today and while I was looking at them I realized why I didn't like them. It's that they're already so cute and cartoony. They haven't had to go through the same changes that the other lines did. They could be any toy, they don't look like SHS style toys.

Wow! I hope these hit the states soon, but I do wish there was a Woody instead of 2 of Buzz.

The Alien figure looks almost exactly like a burger king one I already have, same with the Rex.

Someone mention Zurg? Now before anyone gets worked up about it, this is NOT a Toy Box Hero figure but a Toy Story and Beyond: Adventures in Andy's Room figure. Not bad scale though. I'll try and post comparisons between the two line side by side.

They are just miniture versions of regular Toy Story figures. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but it just isn't as interesting for me.

Toy Box Heroes in comparison to the previous line ToyStory Above and Beyond: Adventures In Andy' Room. There are a lot of figures in this line that could possibly be used to flesh out your collection if they never make another wave. Like Woody, Prospector Pete etc. Only one missing is Jesse.
