Thanks for kind words mis amigos.
Joe; If I could paint a SHIELD logo that small, I'd have to have real talent. I'd have to be you!
I'm always looking for new guns/weapons to make new SHIELD agents. I just wish the Roadblock Combat Heroes arm wasn't so out of size cause that hog he shoots is bad@ss. Can't wait for the movie Joes to come out.

maybe you could use decals for the shield logo. I know Testors makes a decal set that supposidly is very easy to use. I know you can get the logo off of a computer and print it on clear film that can the be attached to a figure.

Aw geez, I'm blushin'! Actually, truth be told, atgscl's right, that's exactly what I was going to suggest Decals are supposedly the way to go with details elements that tiny. I've never used any myself and prefer to free-hand ( I'm a control freak with my art, though), but I hear they're fantastic. May wanna look into it man!

Heres the link to it from the Testors site: www.testors.com/product/136937/9198/_/Custom_Decal_SystemI read it more carefully and you have to buy a $10 upgrade CD along with the $10 kit to be able to import images from the computer. So it'll put you back $20 bucks but you will get many, many decals out of it. Think you could use this to replicate the hero squad eyes? They are pesky buggars to paint.

Thanks guys! You know the best thing about painting with those metallic paints? NOTHING! Geez Louise they take a lot of coats to get decent.
The antennae (sp?) actually was a scrap piece off an old Seaquest figure weapon.
StarGod / Man-Wolf and a SHIELD Mandroid are in the works, plus another Hulk.

You should get metallic paint that is meant for wood but is acrylic. I have some and it only takes one coat and looks amazing! By far the easiest paint to paint with that I have.

Thanks guys! You know the best thing about painting with those metallic paints? NOTHING! Geez Louise they take a lot of coats to get decent. Wow that looks so awesome. Inspirational! That really looks great, man. If you're having a hard time with metallic coats, You should really try metallic paint pens. I use those and they coat well in 1 use. I use Elmer's Painters paint pens. If you look at my Red Hulk repaint you can see I did the veins with a purple Elmer's pen. They coat really nice. Though you might have success with another brand. You might want to buy two sizes of pen though, one small tip and one medium. Also, you should let the other paint dry for at least half a day though before using the pens= And if you apply too much pressure with the bigger tips they have a tedency of bleeding out too much paint. Other wise I've had great success with them.
