Thanks for the tips! The metallic paint for wood...does it come in the small bottles like the Folk Art stuff?
I have a paint pen I want to try for eyes...if that works out well I'll try the metallics too.

Excellent Black Knight!! That Knight figure made a perfect base! Painting is top knotch too! That looks like it could be factory made.
Lovin'Stargod (whoever he is), Mandroid, and Dugan too!

That's quite an impressive little S.H.I.E.L.D. army you've got going on there. Great choices on some of those head swaps.

I still need to make a belt for She-Hulk, and paint the bazooka Shocktrooper, but I wanted to have a group shot anyway. I've got some plans for a SHIELD wall display to keep these guys on someday.
I love the granite too...but it looks kinda yellow in the pic.

7th: Clay Quartermain...when I looked up SHIELD on comicvine.com, a pic of him in this colored uniform came up and I thought it was unique enuff to custom. Don't know which comic it's from so I have no idea why it's different.
JG: Yes, I used a Duke head and uh...the two black guys. Sorry, but I don't know GIJoe very well to have them remebered yet. I want to use of these as a Luke Cage too, but haven't made up my mind which yet.

Well it looks like I'll be buying some of those for my own SHIELD agents.
The one on the left is Heavy Duty, the one on the right is Ripcord. I think Heavy Duty would work as a Luke Cage best.

Nice SHIELD army! I really like that Dugan. I went ahead and bought an extra Duke and Ripcord so I could have more SHIELD agents. I'm also looking forward to getting another desert camo Duke so I can slap a Nick Fury head on him.

Thanks arbco. Yeah, I've kinda taken the "army builder" concept to an unexpected level.
I hope they come out with CH3 cause I'd love to make Nick Fury's Howling Commandos.
I like your idea about putting Fury on the desert camo Duke...might have to copy it.
