Oh....my....GOD. Seeing those 2008 ones has just convinced me to start collecting. Man, they put SO much detail in them. I LOVE the Rancor, the Tie Fighter, The AT-RT, General Greivous, the 2 monsters from the end of Episode 2 (Reek and Nexus), Shaak Ti, the Dewback, the flying R2D2, they're all amazing. |

A friend of mine called today, and said they had the new scenes at the local Target. Haven't gotten out to pick them up yet, and don't know if I will given the current cash flow, but they're out there.

I've seen these two new sets, but passed on buying them. It's not really offering anything new.
Just clone troopers or speeder bikes in bulk.

Each set has two new figures, the new Padme, the Clone Officer (I'm guessing that's what he's called), and two Ewoks. Just too minor for me. If I were really looking to have a complete set, I'd be in, but those 'exclusives' are just below the radar. Why sell the Speeder Bike Luke with a Speeder Bike again? That's already a standard two pack. Give me something like a Speeder Bike Leia. Or a Threepio in a different pose. |

I would SOOO much rather a new fig (Ewok) than a new pose of a pre-existing fig (3PO).

But I thought the Endor set had 2 new Ewoks, & 1 repack/repaint. Or was another of the Ewoks released somewhere?

I just went looking online and one of the Ewoks (Wicket?) was released as a Playskool toy several years ago. At first glance all three Ewoks looked new, but you're right about the repack. I'm still miffed at the duplicate Han and Luke in this set. Dup stormtroopers I can deal with.....but like I said before, do something so it's not so obvious I'm getting the same thing I bought 8 months ago. Oh well. |

Yeah I feel ya, sundevil. I just started this line, so Im lovin it. I just pick up the sets and I have many of the older figs. Hehehe.. But SHS is just starting w/the dup characters thing and Im gettin tired of it too. Booo.
