To this day I still have no idea who the heck this yellow Gargoyle is. He's not in any of my marvel "encyclopedias" and I've never come across him in a comic. When he drops to $.99 I'll grab one.

Yeah wiki! Out of curiosity I just purchased Defenders #94 & 95 on ebay. Maybe Gargoyle will be truly fascinating and I'll cough up the $30+.
I think Shang-chi and Sif are the only other unfamiliar characters.

www.comicvine.com/gargoyle/29-7114/I actually knew Gargoyle from his association with Damien Hellstrum (Hellstorm). This is a great shs figure. I am tempted to get it when it is on ebay but... knowing me I would shell out the money then decide I want to customize it.

Because you know you need to know: The origin of Gargoyle. An old man that made a deal with some evil person-thing and gained the power of Gargoyle, re-nigged on the deal so is cursed to be the Gargoyle FOREVER. But keeps the ability to shoot black hellfire! Good deal... Attachments:

And Gargoyle in action! I find it truly bizarre that they went so far to sculpt and produce this character, albeit in limited quantities. (And Nightkhawk too.) Someone at Hasbro is stuck in the 70s/80s. Were the Defenders that big a comic back then? Attachments:

Remember when Wizard (the magazine) would highlight weird and random things in the comic world? They used to profile some of the worst characters ever produced, (one character that always stuck in my head was Pieface.)
I just finished reading the 4-part Gargoyle mini series Marvel put out in the 80s. Gargoyle makes my list of saddest heroes ever produced. I need to find a comic where Gargoyle is an actual "super" hero. Or maybe marvel printed a comic in which Gargoyle was killed. I need closure.

I just won the one that ended today. Now I will need to make the Damien Hellstorm I ahve been putting off. I struggle with it as I am a youth director for a church But I think Hellstorm being the son of satan who is against satan is a pretty good story arch. However I haven't finished reading the series I ahve as my wife gave me this look that said she didn't approve.
