While reading graphic novel reprints, I found the introduction of this "fake" Joe. Attachments:

I have been gone for 2 weeks and come back to al this goodness.
Future Ace: Great concept. Love that the helmet comes off. Modern Shipwreck: Hands down Shipwreck and Polly were my favorite Joes as a kid. It is nice to see he evolved with time and lost the Village People attire for a more rugged look. You captured it amazingly. Falcon: Amazing esp all the web gear what is it from? Adventure Combat Hero: Taking it old old old school. I didn't get into these until last year when they redid them 3 3/4 for Joe Con. You did an amazing job on him as well.
I kow I have been kinda hard on your part choices especially using 3 3/4 scale accessories but your work is great and I do appreciate some one else diving into Joedom.

The web gear is from one of the genric 3 3/4" sets from TRU -- he had on a pith helmet and came with a some kind of safari animals, maybe meer kats. Incidentally, I used his head (glasses) minus the hat with Sculpey hair for my The Authority's The Doctor.
My thought on using the 3 3/4" accessories was that they are very fairly rare on other CHs and difficult to sculpt (or like in the case of the where I cut down the gili suit for my Jungle Viper, almost impossible), and Joes seem naked without them. And, since the Heroes figures already have disprotionate heads, hands, feet, and accesories, I thought use the larger accessories were my best option. Plus I bought a bag of them for practically nothing at a garage sale. I often cut off trim or add parts and paint the accessories as well to fit as best I can.

Oh dear gawd please tell me that cell phone was not gray!
Anyways.... Croc master is scary perfect! Law and Order are dead on for what was shown at SDCC which is based off of the Renegades cartoon. Law n Order was my favorite Joe besides SHipwreck as a kid so I have sentimental issues with a revamp of his charcater.

Thanks again for the compliments, Doc.
And it was a red phone, probably from one of the old accessory packs. Why is a gray phone rare?

Thank gawd I was hoping you would say red. The gray one is a $25 difference if you have it witht he rest of Firefly. I am glad to say I found one in a random bin of stuff.

Endor trouper on ROC Duke legs? Intersting recipe... Debating if I like it or not. He looks a bit chunky... I do like the flare gun... Interesting Hasbro gave him a gun with his original figure as he, like Doc, was a pacifist.
