I would like to say THANK YOU to everyone here that gave me inspiration and guidance on my custom work/figures. Without everyone's kind and heart worth comments, I might have stopped a few months ago.........THANK YOU !!!

Last year (2012) I started collecting and customizing Super Hero Squad and Action League figures. My kids and I collected as many figures as we could find and when that "well-ran-dry", I started making my own......(to fill in the gaps). In 2012, I took a picture of the 66 custom figures that I had created......from May to Dec




I wanted to keep this tradition up thru the coming years..........I have so many custom figures that I want to make, so I'll be doing this for a few more years.......even though my kids have moved on from Super Heroes, they still support/help me with ideas and thoughts.

2013 - I created/customized 112x figures, including 1 commissioned figure - Puck......not pictured, 4x Vehicles and 3x Bases for my collection........now they are part of my 2013 archives:

What head did you use for Skallox? They all look awesome by the way.

Thanks DP&F.....the head is from a Playmobil #3184 set. I bought the set for something else but when I was looking around thru all my "crap" for a head that might/could work......it just clicked when I say the head on the skeleton.

I'm not happy with a few of the figures but......I'll just keep moving on and maybe one day, go back and fix what "I" think is wrong !!!

Working on the last 10x figures that go with this set and then I'm done. Should be done by the end of the month.....thanks again

These are some great customs, as per your usual work.

Don't know who she is, but the Lyssa figure is very cool.

And the paint on the Manhunters is spectacular.

Glad you're doing more DC stuff, cause you always seem to beat me to the table with your Marvels.

Its been pretty slow around here with out-cha, what have you been up to ? Last thing we heard was that you had a "large" project that was going to take you about 6 months to complete.......we tried to keep the forum alive.

Thanks for the nice words....... , I've been in a really BAD dry spell lately. I decided to take pictures of my collection (w/NEW additions).....I'll be posting them later today on my "collection" post

I have been checking out the site frequently, just never got motivated again to get off my lazy rump.

Yeeeeah...my 6 month project kinda came to a skidding stop. My wife (Indiangirl78) and I were going to make the Serpent Society...only got two finished.

I do have some more Iron Man villains planned and I'm already working on a couple.

Keep 'em coming buddy, yours look amazing.

I just say your Serpent Society.....you guys NEED to finish that project, they both look awesome (Diamondback is my favorite.....sorry FB).

Thanks for commenting on my work, it has been really HARD to keep going......DP&F has been putting out figures left & right but I think I needed a break. I have 6x figures out of my 7x that are completed....should be hitting the post tonight !!!
