Hey! Hey! Hey Look! I actually finished another one. So yeah i got really lazy there for a while. And every time i would work on this figure, i'd also work on like 3 others. And they all seemed to need way more work. So i had inspiration problems in getting me to finish them. But i finally finished and i'm pretty happy with how he came out. Original is SWGH Quinlan Vos figure with a SHS Deadpool head mold i made. On a side note, i'm working on a Battle of the Atom Deadpool out of a GIJoe movie viper. i tried to cut one arm and add a ball joint to it. The my peg is the right size for the hole i made and it fits flush, EXCEPT, i can't find a way to make the actual ball joint. I used Milliput and JB Weld to make the joint, but both seem to break apart when i try to put the peg into the socket i made. Any ideas on how to create the ball part of the joint? Sorry for spelling errors. Missed you guys BTW.

Wow. I finally got off my lazy butt and finished another one. I think it's gotten to the point where my perfection-ism with these figures is getting the better of me. I restarted this one several times. And i almost did again the other day when i realize i left out his Spikey elbow pads. But then i remember i had decided over a year ago that i was just going to leave them out because they would make the new joint not work to well. AND that was the other part. I added a joint in his right elbow. Some of the Clone Troopers had it, and i really liked it. I made the stick part of the peg joint early on, but tried and failed several times to make a working ball. Everything lined up real nice between the peg and the socket. Eventually, i put a small screw in the peg and that worked... Except now for some reason, it doesn't line up nice and smooth anymore. I could have fixed it with the dremel today, and then repainted, but just decided to let it go. I'm ready to be done with this figure. I like how he came out, but i just want to be done. Also, yes, i forgot the swords. I'll add them eventually. Got a new mold/cast tool i want to try out for them and Deadpool heads. All right 2count. Your turn. something Marvel.

Very nice job on blending the hood, and the overall paint job too.
Cool to see some customs still popping up.

Half a year later. Here is Ultimate Deadpool. I decided against the skull face, because i never liked it.

Holy Cow. 2 in less than 2 weeks. The Counter X storyline for X-Force was a cool idea that just wasn't properly executed. But it did to lead to two cool things. X-Force as a convert team of mutants, which was later used when Kyle and Yost rebooted in the title in 2008 (X-Static never happened). And it gave us Cannonball's coolest costume. I sat on this one for quite a while as i had originally planned to do his Greg Capullo's costume. But that would have taken a lot of sculpting as i was planning on just adding to the Human Torch figure i had. I posted the question of which costume i should do on twitter and bairdduvessa suggested Warren Ellis' Counter X run. And that's when i remember i had a couple extra Mutt Jones figures. And it worked perfect. This was the team that got me reading comic books. I'm tempted to try and complete it. I just need Siren, Shatterstar, Rictor and Feral. Feral would be the easiest (Avenger's Tigra would need new hair and a minor repaint). But i have no idea what base figures to use for Shatterstar and Rictor. Siren would be hard because base the female base figure cost is so high.

Love the paint job on UDP, and the blonde guy (?) looks awesome...nice body parts blending.
I'm not a Mutant guy, so I had to look these up. Who is the base for Siren? And what is "expensive"?
Shatterstar: There's a Boba Fett figure that has a shoulder brace and partial cape/cloak that might work. Use SHS Havok head with a ponytail added???
Rictor: Bishop has the scarf, but facial hair...Doc Samson???

So for Syren (sorry, misspelled her name before), i would want a flying figure. SO i was thinking either Ms Marvel or Storm. Neither of which do i have in my collection let alone a spare. Expensive to me is over $6. I know it's unrealistic, but i always have to imagine explaining a $10+ figure to my wife. I did just remember the Flying Phoenix figure... that one might just work. For Shatterstar i got a StormShadow figure with the two swords. he will work nice. I might do his costume from Deadpool 2. Bishop is a perfect figure for Rictor. Except he is currently $9.75 on ebay. :/ Holy Cow i might be able to finish the team!

Got these finished last week and forgot to post the here. For Shame! This may be one of the figures i've spent the longest on. Any time i was doing sculpting, i would use my left overs to make his armor. And usually the Milliput would already be hardening up at that point and wouldn't stick. Forcing me to wait to till the next time to add another piece. But "Yaaa!" finally done. This is also my last Hulk. For a while, my oldest son was into the Marvel Symbiotes. Before Marvel Heroes shut down, Venom (with the Toxin Skin) was his favorite character to play as. I saw a similar design here, and just copied it. Either 2Count or FloridaBoy. Another easy custom i copied from here. Specially since i had a few extra Captain Americas. The sword is from the Imaginext Power Rangers line, with some junks cut off of it.

My youngest really wanted a Captain Marvel. And i had gotten fed up with waiting for a Ms Marvel figure to become affordable on ebay. But you know what is affordable? Phoenix. So i cut off the bird and dremelled down the hair. After painting her head i realized i probably left it just a little too big. I also got a little lazy with this figure. I did the comic book costume instead of the overly detailed movie costume. Usually i'll sculpt the minor clothes details (edges of boots, gloves, some seams, etc). It makes for a cleaner paint job. But this time i just opted to only sculpt the helmet, and the other parts i just painted with hopes that they would look okay. I also tried to carving flames into the base to make it look like she was BLASTING off. But it didn't look good, so dremelled it back smooth and just painted flames. There is a layer of red flames that isn't noticable. I also didn't like how the picture came out. I decided to try natural sun light for lighting. But my phone darkened the pictures. Next, i'm going to finish painting Knightpool. I finally got a Captain Mar'Vell figure, but it must have been one of the factory rejects because the paint job is aweful. So i might repaint it. Then i need to finish sculpts on Shatterstar and Cesspool. And then onto starting Rictor.

Almost a year later and finally i have some more. Hope Summers Finished this one a few months back. I was having a pain uploading it to Deviant Art, so i just gave up. Then i finished another and decided i might try it again. Base figure is a Black Widow. Cloak is from the cold weather Galactic Heroes Padme. I have her leaning on her gun, but she can stand up on her own. I just didn't realize when i was taking the picture. Republic Commando Gregor Digital camo or just really dirty armor? That is the question. So on 2 different wikis, it was listed as digital camo. But when i watch the Clone Wars episodes where he comes from, i think it is just dirty armor with some interesting rendering choices. Like the part under his emblem just looks dirty. Same with his yellow parts. They have paint rubs and greyish patches. Plus, why would you utilize digital camo, but also pout bright yellow identify marks over the camo. I was going to go with a more clean armor, but the sites stating it was digital camo got to me. So i decided to make it a blend of digital and dirty armor... which is how it looks on the show. Either way, my kids and i love this character. My youngest son now wants me to make all the droids from that episode. That might be a little tricky to do them all at this scale,
