So Im not sure how many of you (like me) were baited by Hasbro's tease last month for NY Toy Fair 2015 - suggesting that Galactic Heroes would be back. Well, its back alright, but in name only. Apparently their Jedi Force line is being rebranded. Bummer.   |

But hey, at least you can still buy original Galactic Heroes vehicles, which were already repainted and rereleased as Jedi Force, now under the new Galactic Heroes line, with repainted and rereleased Jedi Force figures. (Yes, I am bitter.)

i have been watching the vehicles from a far .. some are slight resculpts and different in size .. was really hoping for a comeback with all the new characters from Rebels and the EP7 on the upside it seems they have ventured into the playsets for this line and also kind of merged in the line that used to fire missiles at each other |

Can someone please enlighten me as to why the (relatively) newer Jedi Force sucks compared to the old, original Galactic Heroes?

I agree the playsets are the best thing - BUT - I get nervous that it could be like Imaginext where there are generic foot slots that wont work for GH. I might consider them if that isnt the case.
As to why they suck - my guess is they really wanted to cater more for kids and less to collectors (and compete directly with Imaginext as they were doing well). Jedi Force must not have been doing as well if they felt a need to rebrand.

I saw those, just didn't realize they were branded as Galactic Heroes. I'm half hoping they do that with the Super Hero Squad line too. Though i don't like the idea of the leg joints, but that is something i would gladly put up with if we got the super hero squad line back with its large array of characters. If it's just branded that way but is the same old tired marvel playskool heroes with there 300 spidermans, then i'll pass.

I'm just gonna say one of my sons really wants that Tie Fighter and X-wing for christmas. Not sure which son i'm going to decide he wants it, but one of them will.
