Phoenix I first got this figure as the Dark Phoenix from CP1, but I still love this figure. The stance, the phoenix stand and colors just all click. A fantastic looking figure full of motion. A
Brown Suit Wolverine The best version of Logan to date. I love the brown suit look but the to the side stance, the hunch and the smug grin all work well together to make a fantastic figure. A

I'm probably in the minority when I say that I'm not all that entralled by the Phoenix figure. I like the overall concept of the flaming phoenix background but there are a few things that have always bugged me. The entire figure is dramatic but also static: there is no articulation and the entire thing feels so clunky. It feels more like a sculpture or statue than a figure. This is getting picky, but Jean's hair seems too short for me. I prefer a mess of long, flowing red hair. It seems a bit too trimmed here. On the plus side, at least she doesn't fall over very easily. C+.
This is a pretty good Wolverine figure. He has his classic patch costume, and the position of both arms/claws works well with the waist and leg. I was planning to keep only one patch Wolverine, either this one or the 4-pack(fastball) version, but ended up hanging on to both. B.

Pairing these two figures up together not only is a great pack for X-Men fans, but they’re both excellent Super Hero Squad figures! Wolverine is my favorite version of the clawed mutant and Phoenix really shows what this line is capable of when it’s willing to just go that step beyond Galactic Heroes.
