Blade - Now here's an example what these figures should look like and where you can see the quality of this line is going. Blade has the right mixture of bad-ass and cuteness. Good articulation and wonderful fightoffhordesofundeadability. I mean poseability. A+ Punisher - So we're at our 3rd swing at Punisher and this sculpt is leaps and bounds over in detail compared to wave 2. He traded up the cartoony bazooka for the reason why you're not allowed to wear trenchcoats in high schools anymore; and he looks awesome doing it! This figure is definately the one to display, well unless you're into that whole Cap-Punisher thing. The only downside to this figure is that his right arm is locked in a "i'm just gonna rest this big gun on my shoulders because I only need a pistol to kill you" position. A- Overall: I'm happy with Blade because he's a new figure with good detail. I was ok with getting another Punisher because, while I do dig that classic comic look from wave 2, I feel like this Punisher is updated in the right way. Now if we could just get a Morbius figure this line would be on track! (Coupled with another Spider-man! )

Blade is an excellent representation, going for his modern look (instead of his hideous 70s and 80s outfit). He doesn't look anything like Weasly Snipes which is nice. His face is distinct though. The gray and black outfit work well, so do his two weapons. My main complaints are his face looks a little chubby and his teeth really standout. Everything except his mouth and cheeks are excellent. A-
Punisher is in his more modern look: trenchcoat, combat boots. His face looks a little too impassive, I would expect more anger or outrage. He only moves (barely) at the neck and waist. His left arm rotates but his right doesn't move which is the biggest failure on this figure for me. He's still decent and the best Punisher so far. B+
Note: Frankly I'm surprised Hasbro packed two guys, holding guns, in trench coats in the same pack.

There are lots of nice little details on Blade: bullets across his vest, the fine features of his gun, the zigzag cut of his hairdo, his prominent fangs. The position and articulation of both his gun arm and his sword arm allow for all sorts of action poses. That all would have been plenty, but he also has partial articulation in his waist and neck. All in all, a very good figure, worth the premium I paid on ebay. A-.
(I didn't buy Punisher)

Way better sculpt of Punisher than the original and Blade is very cool too. They did a good job maintaining the cutesy SHS style but making them a little edgier and dynamic. So glad they didn't just do the GH pose with the guns.

Punisher This Punisher has more of a mean look on his face. Well not really it kinda looks like he is smiling. But still this Punisher is the best one so far. It would be much better if his face was more mean looking. I still prefer this Punisher out of all the other Punishers that were released so far. B
Blade Blade is better than Punisher. Well just a little. His face looks like a vampire smiling a bit. But still am thrilled they made him at all. Plus his costume really looks awesome. You can also do a lot of action poses with Blade. I think that is awesome. A

Pairing Blade and Punisher together almost makes too much sense. They’re both quasi-heroes that kill their enemies while wearing trench coats. It’s a great pack of two characters that exist outside the normal tights and spandex realm at Marvel. Learn how heroes kill: jestergoblin.com/?p=4987
