The first time this figure was released I said: "Best version of the thing released. He's bulky, big and orange. Some may be put off by his color and he'd benefit from a wash. Minimal articulation but his pose works for Ben. Solid figure, but nothing awe-inspiring. B" The second time I was much less forgiving with "Again, the classic-ish FF costume. Not a big fan of the look. He's a pretty standard repaint, new boots, lighter pants. Meh. Worthless addition. D" So what do I have to say this time? More of the same. He's colored like Kraft Mac N Cheese but has a smattering of dark spots that I really don't like. A worse version that the first release. D
Kang the Conquerer looks great. His off the the side smile works wonderfully with a dual wielding psychopath. His costume is classic, but he suffers from only one point of articulation, his right arm. If he had more articulation, he'd be one of the best figures released. A-
This pack is almost worth getting for Kang alone.

When I got this pack off ebay, I thought the dark spots were paint mistakes. I was happy when I found out they weren't. Thing is thing, but this pose is one of his better ones (even though its already been used), and although I didn't like the spots at first, I've started to, because it makes him a bit more unique. C+
Kang is AWSOME. I've always liked this guy, and always wanted to collect the Secret Wars figures, in big part because of him. I was psyched to see he was coming out in SHS, and I wasn't let down. Excellent job and I love the colors, there's on point for this guy, unlike some other characters who's shades are off. Also, as an unopen pack, this set displays really well, as the bright orange is a great contrast to the green and purple. Speaking of green and purple, how bout a Prowler figure!!?? A

While it is possible that the Thing’s look is inspired from the comics when he got punched so hard that some of his skin was knocked off, it still ends up looking bad. As for Kang, he’s a great figure and if he had a few more points of articulation, he’d be an excellent one. It’s just a shame that this wave was near impossible to find. I hate trying to figure out who Kang is: jestergoblin.com/?p=5501

Those dark spots are weird, I'm glad they corrected that for the rerelease.
