I didn't see a thread specifically devoted to this, but I read somewhere that Combat Heroes were DRASTICALLY clearanced at some Wal-marts....has anyone seen this? Literally, like a couple of bucks a set? I have 2 local stores...one is completely cleaned out of the old ones (and they had a ton, so a clearance may have occured here) and one that has a virtual TON of the old ones but they're still $6.96. Has anyone seen a good clearence on these? If so...would said person maybe be able to hook a customizer up? I've got some great ideas brewing, but not a ton of dough to be buying $7 2pks

I have...that's wha I'm talkin about. There are some in the main aisle left on the shelf where they belong, and some in the 'clearanced' section for the $6.96...I don't get it, because, well it doesn't make sense. At all. But I did hear some folks wwere getting some great deals on these!

My Walmart finally moved the Combat Heroes 1 and 2 and left over Hulks to the cleareance aisle and they are currently ringing up at $5. Some still do have the 6.96 sticker on them but they do scan at $5

I went to Toys R Us in Tyler Texas, and these bastards were $10.99. No, I'm not joking. So, the $5 is incredibly appealing when you've seen that price.

I saw the $10.99 tag at TRU too. Friggin ridiculous.
A buddy of mine found Series 1 at a Wal-Mart in Arkansas for 3 bucks a set.

Wal-Mart clearance prices aren't set by corporate. I believe it is up to the store manager or district manager.

Well then the one wal-mart by me that still has em in stock had better get of the stick...they've got now fewer than 50 of each of the old CH packs...and they're just collecting dust. They need to go cheap and fast or they're gonna be there forever

Found some Series 1 packs last weekend for $1! unfortunately they only had one of the Duke/Trooper pack, or I'd have a whole army of Cobras.

My Walmart moved the series 1 down to $4.50 today on a clearance end cap... There are so many though that I may hold out for $3
