One of the comic shops in Tulsa sells them loose and I have some of them strictly for collecting. I don'tplay the game, but I think they are pretty cool.

I don't think he's as rare anymore, there's a new Super Rare Apocalpyse in the newest set.

Hello I was redirected here by X-Fan to post about my HeroClix interest. I'll just paste what I had typed before:
I've been wanting to get into a tabletop figure game and HeroClix looks pretty cool to me. I just have a couple of questions.
Is it easy to play and bring people into it?
Are the different series able to cross over? (Marvel, DC, and possibly HorrorClix?)
Overall is it an inexpensive investment? The figures themselves seem pretty decent.

I dont have many answers for ya, tho Im sure X does. But I DO know that dependin on the game/rules you play by, the different series CAN cross over.

Is it easy to play and bring people into it? Are the different series able to cross over? (Marvel, DC, and possibly HorrorClix?) Overall is it an inexpensive investment? The figures themselves seem pretty decent. As I said before I play Heroclix, for a little over 5 years in fact. Here's the answers to your questions: 1. My advice to pick up the newest starter set, the Fantastic Four set. Its got the current rulebook and it breaks down the rules into smaller steps to get new players started. Also there's something called Heroclix Alpha, it's a watered down version of Heroclix inclined to make the transistion to the real game much easier. The only Alpha set out is Batman Alpha and unlike regular Heroclix it is avalible at chain retailers such as Target. Personally I suggest the Fantastic Four starter over Batman Alpha but its up to you. If you were to learn the game it would be easy to get another person started, or maybe learn the game with another person. 2. Yes Marvel, DC, and Indy can cross over but I'm pretty sure Horrorclix is not compatable with Heroclix but since I don't play Horrorclix I have no idea. 3. It depends on how far you are willing to take it, if you really got into the game and had to collect everything, it would be a very expensive hobby (trust me I know). If you pick and choose from each set, it will be much less expensive. BTW the newest set Arkham Asylum came out 2 days ago so this might be a good time to start. If you have any other questions feel free to ask them.

I've got the answer, Horrorclix is loosely compatable with Heroclix, you can't play Horrorclix in a Heroclix tournament but the Hellboy and the BPRD and zombie Hulk, Spider-Man, Captain America, and Wolverine are Heroclix that are legally playable Horrorclix.

Actually I really have no plans of tourny play. This is purely for casual play with friends.
