Bear with me.. It has previously been established through sneak peeks at Wal-Mart's and Target's 2011 product listing that Robot Heros were coming back as a sub-brand aimed at younger children, BUT... it will not include the Heroes figures that we've come to know and love. It will include things like the Fast Action Battlers, beat-box dancing robots and the like. This slide (thanks tfw2005.com) from last weeks Hasbro's investor report confirms that. Close, but so far away... But keep reading... the next slide is where things (maybe) get interesting! Attachments:

Here's another slide from the same investor presentation. (Again, courtesy of tfw2005.com) The previously-unknown "Rescue Robots" logo is shown on the preschool page with Galactic Heroes and Super Hero squad, which is completely independent of the TF3 movie branding. So maybe we will in fact be getting new 'Robot Heroes" figures, just under a new name! An this is a bigger stretch stretch, but MAYBE, just MAYBE, we'll see Universe-style Hero releases like DOTM Heroes in one wave and the unreleased Universe Heroes in another. It's not plausible, but at this point it's at least possible, and I'm excited about that! Attachments:

I wish they had just stuck with the g1 robot heroes. they were the coolest and they always sold well. the line didn't become peg warmers until they started the movie waves.

Interesting here that Galactic Heroes are mentioned as new launch under the Playskool brand name ... Tweets from the Hasbro pesentation say that Galactic Heroes Line has ended and will be replaced by Jedi force. They look skinner. Less chunk. Lots of vehicles that convert into playsets.

Good news: SHS 3 packs will continue for Thor, Cap and Iron Man for 2011, however we knew this already.
Bad news: nothing else for SHS announced.
Bad news: Super Hero Adventures is just like the new Jedi Force/Robot Heroes. Robot Heroes are turning into Gobots.

Some of the robot force figures especially the one with the big buzzsaw on the front is very M.A.S.K.esque.
I use some imaginext style vehicles for cvombat heroes, I am guessing that's what all these ne whero lines will be like.

Well, none of this turned out as I had hoped.
I'm looking at all of the ToyFair pictures right now, and I've yet to see something that I like enough to put on display in my main case with my Robot Heroes.
I has a sad.

I can't believe they are actually continuing the Robot Heroes line. I completely agree with Jestergoblin that the line was terrible and had notihng to do with all the Heroes lines. And when Hasbro tries to reproduce this line under a new name it will be mostly children buying their crap and not adults. I sure hope this new toyline is good cause I might be interested.
