Idunno...I think the sculpt and paint BOTH look terrific on it.I've seen pics ic a magazie of the model the used for scanning when they did the CGI and it looks spot on. The color may just look off because things were so so dark in the movie. But yea, looks great. Only thing is I'm not seeing the 60+ points of articulation they were boasting about earlier, unless it's VERY well hidden. I see what look like a few cut joints, but those are sooooo impractical when ya get right down to it. Ball joints are the way to go for such a large, lithe creature. I wantthis thing so bad, but not for 100 bucks. Maybe if they end up having it on-line and the Toy Shop has another 50% off sale. I'd pay 50 bucks a huge, awesome looking monster.

Even if it was the lighting in the movie making him brown, Im sure people would love him to be what he looked like in the movie but i know what your saying. The price tag is just killing it imo.
Cut joints are hurting it a bit too, ball joints seem like what they should go for but for some reason they didnt.
