Anyone else here collecting these?
my kid was hooked just by the commercials. the kid has a few figures already, I have a bunch tucked away, and thankfully, in a couple weeks (on his birthday) we will finally get to play the game.
hunting for these guys has been a lot like hunting down new waves of heroes back in the day, and the stores around me do not have very many lately.

I just gave my son the starter pack and six more figures for his birthday. It's his first time I've let him touch the PS3 and it's interesting to see how fast kids pick up this stuff.
We're trying to limit his video gaming to 1 hour a day but I've managed to sneak a couple of extra hours in late at night. This game is ingenious, as a video game and as a way for Activision to milk parents for every penny they've got. Even his anti-video game mom and aunty thought it was brilliant.
Now we're on a mission to start collecting the other figures.

Lol. Strict Mom. I swear, Video Games won't kill you. They said Rock and Roll would, BUT IT DIDN'T!

Video games won't kill you, but they'll rot your brain for sure. I watched one too many friends flunk out of college due to video games, Magic and MUDs. That said, I had a lot more friends flunk out because they preferred drinking and partying. I guess you just pick your vice and hope you can control it.

True. If the kid is smart and focused, Video Games shouldn't be a problem.
