Super Hero Squad is officially dead!

Its a sad day for us, the Squad has come to an end! I have seen the new offerings from Hasbro at the 2012 Toy Fair in NYC and it has confirmed what we all have feared. The SHS toy line has ended! ALL REISSUE'S AND REPAINTS FOR THE AVENGERS MOVIE! There is 1 New figure for the Spider-man movie, Gwen Stacey. Wow, can I contain my excitement....... I am very upset with this. I was hoping that Hasbro would come through with a few new sculpts for the biggest Marvel movie ever, but I guess there is more money to be made in selling items that will sit on shelves for a year and be transferred to TJ Maxx and Marshals. To sit there for 2 more years and sell for half price.

I like what's been shown so far for Avengers and Spidey. If we get more, great. If not, I'll live. If you're getting dramatic over little plastic figures, then you have bigger issues than what Hasbro is or isn't releasing...

I am actually excited for whats coming out.. 5 new sculpts (movie Thor, Black Widow, Nick Fury, Guen Stacy, and Lizard) is pretty good for a "dead line" Its more than I thought we would've gotten. Anti venom is a bonus but where's Kraven? I wanted a movie Thor when the Thor movie came out I never thought we would get one so I'm happy with just that!

Gwen Stacy, Lizard Anti Venom......... I'm happy with that and we still have to see what they do for the 2nd baddies from the avengers movie
