I thought it would be interesting to see everyones list of the top 10 worst comic book movies. I'll start:
1.Batman Forever (so ridiculously corny and neon, embarrassment to the franchise)
2.Howard The Duck (TOTALLY different then the comic book)
3.Fantastic Four (the old one, from 1994)
4.Catwoman (Lame movie, worse career move for Halle Berry)
5.Captain America (another made for video piece of garbage)
6.The Punisher (the one from 89, with Dolph Lundgren, although the newer one wasn't that great)
7.TMNT 2 (secret of the ooze)
8.Steel (Shaq as an actor is pretty self explanatory)
9.Barb Wire
10.Tank Girl (I remember we went to see this in the theater and actually left the movie in the middle to go to the arcade. Kiler Kangaroos!!Watch Out!!)
This list isn't necessarily in perfect order, but it's definitely 10 bad efforts. Some dishonorable mentions=The Punisher (newer version), The Crow-City Of Angels, Man-Thing (could've been a really cool movie), Son Of The Mask (horrible), etc.

Yeah, that's the Fantastic Four I meant. Props on the Supergirl mention, completely forgot about that. Also, Superman 3 was a bomb. Elektra could have been WAAAAY better. Cool visuals, not much on story.
But I actually liked AVP. I haven't seen the sequel, but I thought the first one was kinda cool (although I also liked the first Spiderman movie batter than the second, unlike most people, and the first X Men better than the second or third)

Fantastic Four - I just cant sit and watch that movie, ive seen it once and I hated it.
300 - One of the most overated movies ever imo. I didnt enjoy it at all
Batman and Robin - No explenation needed
Elektra - This wasnt terrible, I thought it was decent but nothing great. Ghost Rider - Like Elektra, I didnt think this movie was all that bad but it wasnt all that good either
Hulk - SOOOO bad imo. Not entertaining at all
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Movie - A comic book was made about it so ill count it and technically its not related to the show. The plot was crap, the acting was terrible, and the only thing that I liked were the new armored costumes. Those were badass
Not ten movies but to be honest I havent seen that many comic book movies. Unless theyre really well known and hyped up like spidey and the xmen I dont really pay attention to it.

I forgot all about The Hulk movie. Totally annoying garbage. They thought it would look "hip" it just annoyed everyone.
Ghost Rider wasn't much better. Major let down. And I hated how they did Juggernaut in the last X Men movie.
Some of the comic movies I LIKED: Ghost World Road To Perdition Spiderman 1 and 2 Dare Devil Batman 1 and 2 (and Batman Begins) Blade Superman Returns X-Men 1 (2 and 3 weren't as good IMO) History of Violence Sin City The Crow MIB Mystery Men Dick Tracy Popeye American Splendor
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen was a disappointment as well, could have been a great movie, but the corny father/son type relationship and words of wisdom from Sean Connery to the kid that played Tom Sawyer were an unnecessary subplot that just came across as forced.

I thought ghost rider was entertaining but it just wasnt a very good movie. The riding down the building and action sequinces like that were just awesome but the rest was kinda crappy

Ghost Rider by far was the worst comic movie of Marvel's recent attempts. Nick Cage played himself, as usual. The villains attacked for no reason, or in complete opposition to what they just said. The 'dramatic' cinematography just came down to super long pans of Cage pointing. There were maybe three or four dozen too many bad jokes. Each of the villains were defeated through ridiculousness. It's the only superhero movie I refuse to add to my collection.
I have to dispute someone putting the Tom Jane Punisher up as one of the worst. If for nothing else than it being gritty enough to fit the character it's one of Marvel's best. The fight scenes were awesomely raw and real. I loved it! And better still, they didn't try to cram in anyone with super powers!
I think the new Justice League straight to video movie should get a nod as one of the worst. It's only any good if you have already read the comic. Otherwise stuff is just happening and there's no way to keep up.

Ghost Rider was SO entertaining though! (I'm a huge Nick Cage fan...) Well, to each his own. Maybe because I didn't see it in the theater? I don't know, but I liked the first Spidey, the first X Men, DareDevil, Batman Begins, the first and second Batman, etc. all MUCH better than Ghostrider...I honestly was really bored by it.
