I myself just don't get the appeal for these. To me they're similar to Mini-Mates but don't have much real posability and are a lot bigger and take up a lot more space. Kinda like non-bobble heads.

That's something that actually makes them cooler IMO. Fitting everything to that mold. But their are still differences. Look at Ghostriders head, Mola Rams head, Thor, Venom's tongue. I love em, totally a different take on classic figures. I don't play with my toys, so that isn't really a factor.I collect them because they look cool as hell and are an example of modern urban art, at a realistic price.

I agree. Me too, I display them only, and one factor for me that started me collecting these muggs and Squad is that, scale, poseability and articulation is not be an issue. they really are fun to collect. I maybe shifting to deformed figures collection because of muggs and the squads.

totaly the cuteness factor for me. the packing is amazing also the faces on the top of the bax rocks. i open mine and display the figurs and then stack the boxes in columens so the faces show kinda a neat effect.

These are excellent figures. I have them on display OOP, but i've kept the boxes because the art is fantastic, specially the top like buffyboy says. I only have about 7 or so (combined from SW and Marvel waves) due to space and cost, but I wish I could get my mits on more. The smoothness that is Lando must be owned!
