Nothing special, and I actually stole the idea from Yaya...thanks Homie! I needed a quick figure for a diorama for the photo contest, so I put this one together today. Gotta be PC and all, so my version gave up the "smokes". Luke Cage

Hey, I wrestled and agonized over which arms to use on that guy and had to go outside the Hasbro heroes line altogether. Are those Roadblock's arms with different hands? Nice job btw!

Thanks guys! Yes, those are Roadblock's arms with a different left hand. On the right arm, I carefully sliced away the big gun he holds. I switched out the left hand just cause it looked kinda goofy...it's the one that would have been holding the end of the gun barrel. I used a Destro fist and gave him a "boxer" stance.

*puts female with green lips custom back in the depths of the box*
Now I know what it feels like. Excellent work on Viper, great work on the lips. What is her cloak?
Sharon's head seems big, but the figure otherwise looks fantastic.
Damn you're good at painting. What brand are you currently using? I've run through most of my supplies and am looking for a higher quality paint.

JG: Cloak came from the Padme Amidala that is used for the Sharon Carter....just a head swap for SC That's why her cranium looks a little off-size. But I figured it was close enough for government work. I had thought about painting her in the SHIELD outfit, but really like the look in white.
I'm still just using good ole Folk Art paints. BUT, I did find an excellent brush at Michael's for $2.99. It's got a light-purple handle: "10/0 American Painter 4300 Shader" I LOVE this brush...it's about 1/8" wide with semi-stiff bristles that are in a tight formation which makes it great for cut in work, as well as surface coating. It is well worth the money.
7th: Thanks brother! When are we going to see you jump into the customizing game?!?

Ahhh that cloak explains why the body looks a little undersized.
Great work though, I'm going to have to find some way to one-up you now...

That's some good stuff there Florida, the Hydra actually looks like it's part of the SHS line (not that your other customs don't blend in, this one just looks especially professional).

Hey Florida,
Amazing work on Madame Hydra. Especially the lips. I've been having my own personal meltdown with lips on my end. Love the hydra agent, too.

digital: Trick with the lips...after I tried as carefully as possible to cover the existing lip color, there was some "smear" or "color-outside-the-lines" but with my new favorite brush and a VERY small amount of skintone colored paint, I was able to cut-in around the lips and effectively erase the smears. I mean VERY small amount of paint too, almost like dry brushing. See this post from earlier about the brush I found:
