Thanks guys. I got really lucky with the 'stache on the first try. I thought for sure I would have to get it after multiple tries. It's such a pencil thin line I didn't want to sculpt one on.

Thanks grx1: Bullseye torso/head and legs, Wolverine arms and a sword from a Great Adventures knight. I smoothed over the "bullseye" on his forehead with sculpey, than cut out the little wing thingee from foam.

Thanks gh! I don't know about "perfect" though. Sometimes I just get lucky and the hand is really steady...other times, not so much. I have come to like Folk Arts acrylic paints that I find at Micheal's craft stores. Wal-Mart has them too, but not as good a variety. "Yayadad" does some amazing work with Tamiya paints, but I can't find those around here. Brushes are nothing special really...find them at Micheal's too. I don't use the expensive ones that some of the guys here use. You could get better info on those from "MutieJoe". That dude has serious skills. Sculpey: Micheal's for like $2. You can paint it too. Personally, I'm not a big sculptor, so I use it for smaller details like Wonder Man's visor, Bird-Man's neck collar and filling in holes. I have used it more on my latest projest that I hope to post today. The thing about it though, you can't make real big/thick details cause it will crack. Some of the guys in here use a 2-part epoxy that I want to try. There's a link in the "Need help customizing" thread. Lots of other good info there too. www.avesstudio.com/Products/products.htmlwww.figurerealm.com/customtutorial.phpGood luck and get to posting your stuff!

Random tip, since Michaels was mentioned. Go to AC Moore's website. Store locator. Find your store, print a coupon. It's either 40% or 50% any non-sale item. Every penny counts, right?
Michaels accepts ACM coupons.

Well weslae, you are my favorite post-er after all!
Glad you enjoyed it. Guess I'll have to do Chameleon next since nobody else who said they were going to make him (I'm looking your way jestergoblin!!) has so far.

Can you imagine how easy it would be to carve a turkey with a lightsaber?!?
Glad you guys like Constrictor. Recipe: New Black Spidey legs and torso...I sculpey'd over the chest and back to give him a smooth surface. Arms are from a Wolverine with the blades sliced off. Head is a Loki with the "skull cap thingee" removed...had to sculpey in the rest of his head cause there's a huge divot there, and the mask is sculpey too. The whips are from an old Lex Luthor accessory I had laying around.
I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays and gets tons of SHS from Obi-Claus!!
