I was originally going to go to Star Wars Celebration in Orlando this past weekend, but we had a change of plans. I kinda wish I had now that I see what went on. Including an update on GH Wave 26! *Darth Vader (hands on his hips) & Luke (Bespin) *Training Clone & Sgt Bric *Senate Commando & Aqua Battle Droid *4th pack not revealed EDIT: Oh yeah! Forgot to mention abt the AT-ST set w/AT-ST Driver, Vader, and 2 Snowtroopers! Its supposed to be a Kohls exclusive avail in Sept. A cool GH blog has the scoop. at last, after 23 different sculpts of anakin do we finally get a third sculpt of the most important character in the saga, and even in the crappy pic, darth vader does look awesome. I will be buying one of these for myself as well as one for the kid.
now maybe someday they will make vader in the force choking someone pose, but I'll settle for a plain white tie fighter. ;D
oh yeah, I guess the rest of the wave is cool also.
since it is esb 30th anniversary year, I'll bet the mystery pack is lobot and ughnaught, cause we already have everybody else from esb.

That is a REALLY nice site 7th. Thank you for linking to it. It's almost as good as JesterGoblin's. Needless to say, it's great seeing avid SHS and GH fans out there.
I'm REALLY EXCITED about the AT-ST. I need to stock up on AT-ATs now because I am totally setting up a GH style battle of hoth now. lol

b3n4 - Agreed, another Vader sculpt is better than what we have been getting. But Im wouldnt bet on lobot and ugnaught as the mystery pack. Altho it would be beyond awesome - I dont have faith that itll be anything that cool. We've been getting a lot of Clone Wars cartoon stuff - all of which I dont care abt. Lets just hope its something from the original trilogy. Reaper - yeah, Ive run into that blog before. its pretty awesome. Im also excited abt the AT-ST - actually forgot to mention it. I think I might have to pick it up. Ive thought abt making a playset for Hoth. Guess I shoulda picked up a snowspeeder.  |

yeah, I am prepared to be disappointed with the mystery pack. a cool new boba fett sculpt would make me eat my words though. (hint hint) ;D
and yeah, the playing with galactic heroes blog is rather cool. go back a few pages and see the cantina and hoth scenes the guy did. awesome use of shaker cheese lids and laptop hard drives.

Holy crap!!! Just on Friday I got all my galactic heroes out and organized them on my kitchen table only to put them back in the bin they were in. But now I will clear off a shelf for them so I can display my collection. I will def be getting the atst and the atat. On friday I was also thinking how awesome it would be if they made a Bespin carbonite room scene.
I do hope with all these new vehicles we will get a landspeeder and a Tusken Raider wooly mammoth.

I really hope that the mystery 2 pack is FX-7 & 2-1B ... to go with my medical bay Luke & Leia customs ... Lobot, Ugnaught, Bespin Security Guard & Cloud Car pilot would all be contenders too from ESB but I already have custom versions .... I also hope that we will see more vehicles too  |

there really aren't that many more characters left to make from the original trilogy. sure they could do all the creatures from the cantina an jabbas palace, but they have most of the rest of the characters covered. who is missing a new hope aunt beru more cantina critters lots of rebel pilots the imperial guys sitting at the big round table various rebels from the yavin base empire strikes back various rebels from hoth base 2-1b and other droids all 6 of the admirals that vader choked in esb people of bespin lobot ughnaughts cloud car pilot return of the jedi sy snootles the rancor keepers more beings from jabbas palace and sail barge mon mothma general nadine more ewoks |

Am I the only one hoping that they might change it up and hit the books. Maybe get an Admiral Thrawn, Mara Jade, or Talon Karrde. Or maybe some Rogue Squadron members or some new jedi like Corran Horn, Kyp Durron, or Kyle Katarn.

One more variation i would like to see is an old Dagobah Yoda much like the vintage with a cane and maybe even a snake around his neck. I would also like to see a kneeling pose of the guys at the beginning of new hope waiting for the elevator to open. |

Thats actually a pretty nice list. Id want any of those over these silly clone wars cartoon characters we keep getting. And, no offense to dadandaidan, over any character from a book.

old yoda would be awesome, the luke with yoda on his back is one of my favorite figs.
the second season of clone wars was a lot better than the first. I was glad to see it getting better. but other than jedi we don't already have, there are not that many characters I would want from clone wars. we already have soooo many clone/storm troopers.
