I was going to make different arms and weapons to separate the drones apart. I think these were one arm for the Air drones. The drones that had the excess amount of rockets on their shoulders... Attachments:

Close up of the spread legged drone. I think I was experimenting with two different types of resin. One of them was able to hold a lot more detail but was prone to air bubbles. If I were ever able to get my hands on a vacuum chamber I think I'd attempt casting and molding again. The very very short shelf-life of Oomoo doesn't help either. Attachments:

What kind of mold did you use to create the full figure? I have only ever used a soft mold and you cant do a full figure with that. Yours turned out really well I think .. only a slight trim here and there with a stanley knife which is to be expected ... great job ... would love to hear more

www.smooth-on.com/OOMOO=-Silicone-/c1136/index.htmlOomoo 25. Hardens in 75 minutes. It's really easy to work with. What's not easy is prepping the figure. Especially since these heroes are pretty small. You have to try and anticipate where the air bubbles will form and make sure you have a way for the air to escape. But then you end up with all these sticks stuck to your model to create vent holes and sometimes it gets in the way of details. And when you pour the resin it all gets stuck in the holes and hardens and breaks in there and you start cussing and you end up cutting at the mold to get stuff out.... Good times.

I suggest a vibrating table, you can make one for kind of cheap.
