Thanks Guys. The kung fu panda one happened to be the one figure from that set my son didn't get. And the Samurai one would be perfect!... except i need to finish by Tuesday, and i already molded one with milliput spread over a piece of cardstock i shaped into a cone. Not too sturdy, but it looks.... okay. That's what i get for starting on this figure late.

So i went to submit 3 entries (per the rules) but i guess they only allow you to submit to entries in 24 hours so i missed out on submitting my regular figures. Voting should start tomorrow, but they are anonymous entries so <sarcasm>it might be hard to figure out which ones are mine</Sarcasm>. Once the voting ends i will post them here, plus i might do a big pictures with all my Deadpools. Though there are 5 or 6 figures i still want to complete. So i might wait, might not. I'm kinda hungry to get them done, but i promised my self i'd start riding the work out bike during Sesame Street instead of working on customs. Though in other news, Figure Realm is doing a "CheapSkate Challange" where contestants can't use Marvel Legends, Marvel Universe or some sort of high quality DC figure. I asked about Hero Squad stuff, so i assume they will let those in. I've seen them in Dollar Stores before. So i might submit the ones i'm working on there. Changed my mine. Here is a link to my Deadpool SHS collection. Left in Sta.sh so it will stay private. Enjoy

So this was the 1st entry, that for some stupid reason didn't post, that i submited to Figure Realm for their Deadpool Daze contest. Some how the submission process messed up on this. And then when i tried to submit my 3rd one, it said i could only submit 2 per day... but yet somehow the 3rd one posted to the contest. Oh well, THEIR LOSS!!! Raaar! In the order that i made them: It's Hulkpool! So he wasn't actually part of the Deadpool Corps, but i need a place to put him for the submissions and he totally felt right to fit in here. So i was making a Pandopool out of a Kung Fu Panda McDonald's toy but it was WAY out of scale. A couple years back i had picked up a teddy bear customizable keychain on clearance from barnes and noble. It was all white with the word "Pattern" written on it in several places. "Wow that would make a cool Deadpool custom" i said to myself. And sure enough they made Pandapool. I had forgotten about it until i was cleaning my book case and found it. Being frustrated with the size of the McDonald's toy (i wonder if it is their biggest ever), i switched to this one. Had to sculpt the claws, belt, and new much smaller ears. Taking inspiration from Watertorture's Cave Troll, i decided to also sculpt his mouth and am very proud of how it came out. Frederick "Weezy" Wilson was the Golden Age Deadpool in an alternate universe. He was recruited by the Deadpool Corps to fight the Evil Deadpool Corps and was the first character to be killed off. Edit: 2nd. Headpool was killed first. He was made from a Bucky character with Lego Pirate swords glued on the back (yes i know they are out of scale), and the clicking part of a pen for his gas mask. DAF's Critical Thoughts: I didn't realize it until i finished painting it, but i didn't get the mask all the way centered on his face. It makes his goggles look off center now . This was the last character i finished for the Deadpool Daze contest, AND THEN the F#(%ing thing didn't even submit correctly! It was made from a Samurai Wolverine. He was shirtless and his gi top was draped around his waist. The night before the contest i decided i hated the way it look and dremeled it off and sculpted a new belt for him. Thanks for the suggestion on the hat. I still might try to track down that imaginext figure, but for now i'm happy with his hat. I'm just paranoid that i will drop a flash light on it and break it (it's happened with other figures).

VERY nice group of customs, with Samurai being my fave! The hat turned out great.
Good luck!

I got this figure for my son for cheap from ebay, but hated his crappy paint job. I thought it was because he was used but other collectors had also mentioned the sub-par paint job. It took me several months to decide how to repaint him and then i saw a picture of Cable from the Avengers X-Sanction story line. That, along with seeing ACCustoms version (from figure realm) inspired me. So i dremeled off the stock of the gun in his right hand and resculpted the muscle. Also sculpted his armor and added a gijoe combat heroes neo vipers gun in his left hand. It's hard to see in the picture but i also carved the... "Metal Lines" on his face. The paint kinda filled them in. And now i'm having a hard time convincing myself to give it to me son. #badfather. DAF's Critical Thoughts: Should have made the lines on the metal part of his face more pronounced.

The Evil Deadpool Corps. Assemble by Dreadpool, the alternate dimensions Deadpools have agreed to kill off all the other Deadpools in order to free all of them from a immortal life where they are subject to the whim of comic books writers.... or something like that. It was basically an excuse to mash up Deadpool with as many different characters as they could. I entered all these characters collectively to a FigureRealm Deadpool contest. This one came in 10th out of 31. My other entry, Deadpool's Many Costumes, came in 9th and are already up in this thread in different places. Alright. Onto the characters. Dreadpool is an evil Deadpool who wants to kill... everything. I made him from a Daredevil figure with lego swords. Through the Killology series, his costumes get more and more torn up, even leaving him without an arm. I decided to go with the costume right before he lost his hand. DAF's Critical Thoughts: Should have sanded around the cuff a little more to get a cleaner edge to paint. Venompool was from a What If issue, but he did show up in DP Kills DP. Through his costume was slightly different, but i decided to go with the original design as i liked it more. It's just a Venom with a sculpted tongue and DP symbol on his chest. The Deadpool Kid, not be confused with Kid Deadpool or Kidpool, is a Cowboy and showed up in the same series where Lady Deadpool was introduced. He is a Gi Joe Wild Bill with some sculpting. The hat was a giant pain the ass. I finally got it right, and then i accidentally dropped a flashlight on it. Sucked having to remake it. Wolverinepool. It's Wolverine but with every pointy thing being longer. They seemed to purposely accentuate it in the comic. It was evident that his claws were longer then his forearms, so i worked extra hard on getting the length right on those. DAF's Critical Thoughts: Claws are long, BUT NOT LONG ENOUGH! Deathlokpool seems like his name could be a little bit more clever. This was just a simple reshaping of his face. Lady Spiralpool. Insert 6 arm innuendo. I just cut off the hair and smoothed out the face. D.E.A.D.P.O.O.L. is the MODOK Deadpool. Swords are lego. the guns come from a company called Brick arms that does specialty lego weapons making. The Megablocks play set. DAF's Critical Thoughts: Aaahhhaaaa?! How did i miss how pad those 3 white dots looked! Deadpool The Duck is supposed to be a Howard the took like figure. I used a Daffy figure/caketopper. I shortened his neck and his legs. He came out looking pretty cool though. DAF's Critical Thoughts: Paint not clean enough around the nose. movie Falcon and X-Force Archangel were entered into a FR contest last night. I will post them here in a week. I have a Galactis coming in so i will do that one and post pictures of the entire Deadpool figures together. Sorry i fell asleep half way through writing this. APologies for any spelling/grammer errors.

Although I have never been a huge DP fan, I really dig this set, with my fave being The Duck! Dreadpool is a close second though cause I like the mask and paint.
Good luck!

Thanks D for the advice on galactus. I just kept boiling it as long as i dare and the eventually popped out. I'm more then a little worried about putting them back together. Alright so here are my two latest customs. Black Widow. Yaa for Chinese defects selling these figures at a good price. Notice how one foot won't go all the way down. So i wasn't even sure if i should post this. All i did was take off the gun from the movie version and put it in the right hand of the comic version. I'm going to turn the other one into Hope Summers. Next I have a D inspired Wade Wilson. I can't beleive i forgot to think to do him when i originally planned my Deadpool project. He is a Snake eyes with a Duke Head, and a Deadpool left arm with a Storm Shadow blade. I sculpted some hair on him (sorta), and made the Deadpool Bicep bigger to match the other arm. DAF's Critical Thoughts: Sculpt isn't quite clean enough on that arm. It looked fine until i painted it. Should have gone back a resanded it. i think i was just really excited to get it posted. Just realized i forgot to glue on his sheathes on his back before taking the picture. Oops. Done now.

You can straighten out BW's legs easy enough.
I nuke a cup of water for 2-3 minutes, place the figure in for another 2-3 minutes, then force the desired pose and hold it until the figure cools down.
Sometimes, I have to tie a figure into the desired pose with rubber bands and leave it for awhile.
Nice Wade Wilson!

Not just were my son and i bugged that they didn't make any Super Hero Squad figures for the 2nd Captain America movie, but we were even more bugged that we couldn't find a single Falcon toy, easily our favorite character from the movie. So i told him i would make him one. This is clearly inspired by FloridaBoy68's design. Though the main modification is that the wings are detached from the arms like in the movie. The legs, body and arms are Neo Viper's and the Head is from a Ripcord. I Sculpted on Cad Bane Hands and added sculpt to turn the guns into Steyr SPPs. Movie inconsistencies showed him using either these or modified Mach-10s. The wings are Resin casts i made from a McDonalds Happy Meal Skylanders Drobot toy. As opposed to feathers, the wings in the movie have a metal and fiberglass slits that only loosely resemble Feathers at a first glance. So the Drobot wings worked out nice for this. Still changed my paint design 4 times before i got it as close as i wanted to make it. My son loves to play with this one. There are 2 more pictures onfigure realm if you guys would like to see them. FigureRealmI also did an X-Force Archangel. So my son didn't want Angel because he "Turns bad and becomes Archangel". So i decided to keep the figure And turn him into Archangel. It was pretty simple. I just trimmed off the hair and sculpted on the mask. Now that it is done, my son kinda wants it. DAF's Critical Thoughts: Silver paint came out bumpy. I Hate using that paint for this small of scale. Sorry. Again i fell asleep while posting. So i wound up just copying the text from the other sites i had posted it on.
