I got into SSH in 2008 and as of the past 5-6 years, it seems like the whole communities dead. Most of the rare figures are dropping in prices (Excluding Nighthawk, gargoyle, and I cant even find sellers for craven or posed black spider man) The tv show has been off air for years, the games been gone also (even though there is a group of people bringing it back), and the only new figures that have ever been released in awhile is that one guy got a custom kingpin figure from one of the creators. So is it safe to assume that its dead?

Bro, it's been dead for a long time. I also got into it back in 2008, before the first Iron Man film came out. I discovered this forum and the Wiki back in 2010, when I was 10 years old. I noticed around 2012-2013 was when the amount of visitors to this forum lessened. I finally stopped visiting regularly around late 2013 to early 2014. I've visited this site maybe a handful of times since then.
I looked up Super Hero Sqaud on eBay and also noticed that the prices had dropped significantly. Even the rarest of figures (Mole Man, Gambit, Rogue, etc.) were a lot cheaper than they were back when SHS was in its prime. I'm 20 years old now, and I haven't gotten a new SHS figure since 2012. It's been on my mind a bit lately due to the fact that I've been quarantined cause of the coronavirus pandemic. That's why I'm even here right now.
So, yes, to put it simply, the SHS community is pretty much dead. It's been dead for a long time now. But who knows, maybe it'll make a resurgence in the near future. Maybe Hasbro will resurrect the line and this forum could be what it used to be. Maybe I'll even buy a new SHS figure for the heck of it. Might as well take advantage of the cheaper prices. That's all wishful thinking, but anything's possible in this crazy world.

Hey man! I noticed the same thing around 5 years ago! LOL
Don't sell your figs or anything. But the closest you'll get to a community like that again is probably r/actionfigures or r/marvellegends on reddit.

Is there somewhere to find a checklist for the newer Hasbro Heros line (isnt this what the SHS became?)
